When we went down the mountain at 16 o'clock, there were still many vehicles rushing up the mountain. The mountains are high and the roads are long, all for you. Going up the mountain is "glamorous", and going down the mountain is "gray-headed and earth-faced". It's worth seeing! In the morning, I came to Dingqing from Dege via Lei Wuzi, mainly driving on National Highway 214 and National Highway 317. The road conditions of this section are good, and the landscape is good, such as on the roadside of Lei Wuzi County, overlooking a hot spring resort (Figure 8); on the roadside of Dingqing County, if it is the season, this is a snow mountain grassland starry sky camp (Figure 9) ). Tonight, I will stay in Dingqing County, Changdu City (altitude 3830 meters, higher than Lhasa), and will go to Biru County, Naqu City tomorrow, all day on the road.

On the evening of 8/21, when we arrived at Dingqing County from Zizhu Temple, we happened to see a fiery cloud, golden in color, while in Hainan, we mostly see pink ones. On the morning of 8/22, I saw that the little tank was covered with a thick layer of dust, and I couldn't stand it anymore. So, I gave it a wash at the car wash under the hotel in Dingqing County for 40 yuan. Leaving Dingqing County and entering the Naqu area, oh my! G317 has become a highway. Although the speed limit is 70, I estimate everyone is going over 100. No more need to cross mountain passes or cling to mountain rocks, it's a flat and open road with a broad view. It was another day of traveling, and we arrived in Naqu City at 9 PM. We hadn't ordered takeout for a long time, and the takeout we ordered was terrible. However, the next day I lost 1KG, haha! Tomorrow we will pass by the most beautiful heavenly lake, Namtso. This time we plan to see China's second-largest saltwater lake: Selincuo, a lake that is still expanding. From Naqu onwards, it will be 'one lake after another,' and we will see more lakes continuously.

Day 4 (August 5) Explore the mysterious Zizhu Monastery in eastern Tibet. Zizhu Monastery is a 3,000-year-old monastery that is little known even to Tibetans. The religion it worships once flourished in history, but is now forced to retreat to the rugged and cold areas. It is located in a high-altitude and cold area at an altitude of 4,800 meters, but it was able to build astonishing temples and monks' quarters between the steep mountain walls. Starting from Leiwuqi, we headed along the brown canyon. The weather was good, so I was able to take a picture of the back of the archway of Zizu Temple. The road conditions after coming down from National Highway 317 and heading towards Zizhu Monastery can only be described as "torturous and difficult". The 11-kilometer mountain road is all sandy and dirt, crossing mountains and peaks, bumpy, rugged and winding, with a total of 43 turns, with bare cliffs on one side and deep ravines on the other. Although it is possible to get on a sedan, which is both a cripple for both the driver and the car, it is indeed difficult. Looking up at the Zizhu Monastery built between rugged mountains, the dzong-style houses are built on the dreamy cliffs and caves of Zizhu Mountain. At the top of the mountain is a large hall with a golden roof and red walls. The small white houses where monks practice are slanted on the cliff, making you feel as if you are in a lost world somewhere in the Star Wars movie. The most magical thing is that there is a naturally formed sky gate on the mountain. From a distance, it is full of a sacred and psychedelic atmosphere. The temple, built brick by brick, tile by tile and stone by monks of successive generations, has gone through vicissitudes of life and still stands tall among the majestic mountains. The hellish road conditions keep it in its most original state. Circumambulating the mountain is not only a way to pray for the health of your family, but also a way to get closer to Zizhu Monastery. Believers use various symbols to express their faith, admiration and respect. My knowledge and experience are limited and words cannot express the magnificence of Zizhu Temple. Stubbornly, we tried several more times to take that bend but still couldn't make it. After all, the tires had been stationary for too long and had iced over. We had to carefully turn around and prepare to go down the mountain. It was already snowing again on the distant mountains, so we let the drone go to take a look at Zizhu Temple for us. However, the eagles in the sky made me fly cautiously, always feeling that I hadn't found the angle I wanted the most, but I was already very satisfied. The last time I came to Zizhu Temple was five years ago. Time really disappears in the blink of an eye. Although we didn't make it to the top, I have no regrets. It's enough to have been here. Zizhu Mountain is 4,800 meters above sea level, and there is only a 12-kilometer road from the foot of the mountain to the top, all of which are unpaved gravel roads. In winter, the high mountain roads are slippery, making it really difficult to reach. It is precisely because it is located in steep mountains that Zizhu Temple has preserved many aspects of the Bon culture. It is one of the largest temples in the Kang region with the most complete preservation of Bon rituals. The most special event at Zizhu Temple is the once-every-twelve-years Rooster Year Grand Ritual Dance. The 'Bliss and Hell' ritual dance is a very grand festival at Zizhu Temple. The next one is in 2029, and if I have the chance, I would really like to see it with my own eyes.
