Day 1 Arrival in Dunedin, New Zealand
Arrive in Dunedin and meet the explorers at a welcome reception.
Day 2 Boarding
Come aboard and check into your stateroom and explore the public spaces.
Day 3 Sea Cruise
Meet your fellow travelers during your cruise and learn about Antarctic history, the environment, and Antarctic animals.
Days 4-6 New Zealand Subantarctic Islands
Amazing natural beauty and biodiversity.
Days 7 to 10: Sea Sailing
Crossing the Antarctic Convergence Zone, the sea temperature drops by about 4°C. Approaching the Antarctic Circle, icebergs are right in front of you!
Day 11 - Day 17 Victoria Coast and Ross Sea
Arrive at the legendary frozen land - Ross Sea. It is home to a range of unique Antarctic species, and the human heritage along its shores is equally impressive.
Days 18 to 20: Sea Voyage
Sail north and experience the magic of the Southern Ocean.
Day 21-22 Macquarie Island
Home to 3.5 million seabirds, including at least four species of penguins!
Days 23-24: Sea Voyage
The journey is coming to an end. I will organize my photos, write down more feelings, and say goodbye to my travel companions.
Day 25: Disembark in Dunedin
Farewell to the expedition members.
