All Moments About Preko
A nice place to stay because it's not crowded with tourists
#ThailandFlightEvent The blue sea seen from Preko, Croatia was healing in itself. Even if I did nothing and just looked at the sea, I felt like I was getting energy. Maybe because I visited during the off-season, there were hardly any tourists, and I was able to feel truly relaxed in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I loved this beautiful little town. If you are planning a trip to Croatia, I recommend you include Preko in your itinerary. #croatiatravel #EuropeanTravel #OverseasTravel #Preko
Another small island in Preko village
#ThailandFlightEvent There is another small island in Preko village, and there is a monastery there, so I wanted to go there, but when I went, it was the off-season, so I couldn't go there by swimming, and it was a place you could go by boat, but I regretted not having the courage to ask the information center. The name of the monastery is Samostan sv. Pavao, and it is a monastery in Preko village that I definitely want to visit next time, so if you stay in Zadar and visit Preko village, I recommend visiting it.

Preko village on an island across from Zadar
#ThailandAirlineEvent The panels vividly depicting the lives of the residents also explained in English the daily lives of fishermen in the past, the types of traditional ships, and how society changed. It felt like a place that provided historical background for those who visited for a short time, and for the residents, it helped build their identity and pride.
I think it was effective in reminding us that this small village of Preko, which is now a space for tourists who come to rest, was the home of fishermen in the past, so I recommend visiting the village of Preko on the island across from Zadar.

In the village of Preko
#ThailandFlightEvent In Preko village, there was a sculpture commemorating the laundry place where mothers used to do their laundry. It was a simple but human-like scenery that made me imagine what it was like when it was a small fishing village. It was impressive to be able to feel the life and appearance of the old days in Croatia for a short while. If you have time in Zadar, I recommend taking a ferry and making a day trip.

Preko, a small village on the island of Uglijan
#ThailandFlightEvent Preko is a small village on Uglijan, an island across from Zadar, Croatia. It is a village that can be toured in half a day by ferry. You can rent a bike and go around the large island, but it is easier to walk, so I walked. It is a good place to visit on a day trip from Zadar, so I recommend it. #croatiatravel
In the village of Preco
#HawaiiAirlineEvent As soon as you open the door in the village of Preko, the beach is right in front of you, so it is a great area for relaxation. If you come to Zadar, I recommend staying 1-2 nights in Zadar and 3 nights and 4 days on Preko Island to properly explore the island. #croatiatravel

By ferry from Zadar
#AprilTravelSupport I recommend this island across from Zadar, where you can take a ferry to get there, because it's quiet and chill. It's quieter than Zadar and perfect for a vacation. I took a ferry from Zadar and went there for half a day, and it was a place I wanted to go again next time. I recommend this place because you can take your car on the ferry. #croatiatravel
Leisurely on a Croatian beach
#AprilTravelSupport A clean beach with free sunbeds for everyone to use in the village of Preko on an island opposite Zadar. I visited during the off-season so I didn't swim. There weren't many people on the beach but I saw people swimming in the sea even though the water was cold. I recommend it for a leisurely and memorable time on a Croatian beach. 📍Blue Flag Beach Jaz
small fishing village
#AprilTravelSupport Croatia Located on an island facing Zadar, Preko village is a small fishing village that is quiet and peaceful and nice to walk around. Compared to Zadar, there are not many people, and most of the accommodations are right in front of the sea where you can enjoy swimming, so I thought I would like to stay here next time and stay for about a week. If you have some free time, I also recommend Preko village. #croatiatravel
Preko Beach, Croatia
#AprilTravelSupport The unique sculptures on the beach were great for taking pictures. It seemed like they were providing a photo spot for tourists. I couldn't swim at the Croatian Preko beach, but I recommend it because just looking at the sea was truly healing. #croatiatravel

A village on the island of Ugljan, opposite Zadar
#AprilTravelSupport There were many buses running from Preko Pier to other villages on the island. Preko is a village on Ugljan Island across from Zadar. I recommend it because I like it so much that I want to come to this island next time and stay in this small village for a week. #croatiatravel
Ticket office in front of Preko Pier where you can buy tickets
#AprilTravelSupport This is the ticket booth in front of the Preko pier in Croatia where you can buy tickets. Since it is operated by the shipping company, they give you the exact time and the staff is kind. I was thankful that they took care of the error in my online ticket purchase and explained it to me. I recommend this when buying tickets to go to Zadar from Preko. #croatiatravel
By ferry from Zadar
#AprilTravelSupportYou can take a ferry from Zadar to visit the village of Preko on an island across from Zadar. The one-way fare is 4 euros.
