🚪If you're interested in mysterious attractions, then the Abbey of San Galgano in Tuscany, Italy is a must-see!
🚪Built in 1218, the abbey is the first Gothic building in Tuscany, Italy. Its unique roofless design and sword in the stone give it a magical and mysterious aura.
🚪The abbey was built in honor of the 12th-century saint and knight, San Galgano. San Galgano lived a wild life in his early years, but later became a knight. One day, he met the angel Michael, and after receiving his revelation, San Galgano decided to become a saint and inserted his sword into the rock to show his determination.
🚪After a thousand years, the abbey is full of traces of time, but this does not hide its former glory. Today, the abbey's historical charm is even stronger, and the great design allows light and shadow to present different appearances in every corner, like a time travel door, where you can see the stories of that century.
🚪The abbey is located in the Merse Valley in Tuscany, so the surrounding scenery is also quite nice. After visiting the stunning architecture, you can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery along the way. It's truly a must-see attraction!

BIRRERIA in the city of Siena.
It's a lovely store with an old American atmosphere.
When I visited, there were four taps open.
Everything is delicious, so I recommend it!

Borgo Santo Pietro, the most beautiful manor hotel in Tuscany.
Borgo Santo Pietro is located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, where a 300-acre estate combines the concept of a five-star luxury hotel and spa with a farm-to-table philosophy. This 800-year-old luxury farmhouse hotel has the feel of a luxurious home, with shabby leather armchairs around the campfire, flowers in the garden, and a brick wine cellar with boutique brands.
Each suite at Borgo Santo Pietro Hotel embodies its signature luxury experience, including exquisite furniture and chandeliers, antique artwork, custom beds, fully equipped bathrooms, and close contact with nature. Whether you choose a classic suite in the 12th-century main villa, a more unique suite with a garden, or a secluded villa with a pool, the ethereal experience is designed for five-star satisfaction and service.

Tuscany, I call it a must-drive in this lifetime.
▪️During the self-driving journey from Genoa to Rome,
I chose to stay overnight in Tuscany.
Because I have been to Florence in February this year,
So this time, I stayed overnight in a thousand-year-old village near Arezzo.
It only costs RMB 500+, and there is nothing to complain about except that there are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby. The quiet thousand-year-old town and stone buildings are truly Tuscan.

▪️The next day, we went to the small town of Pienza.
The scenery here is like a fairy tale.
The town still retains its lifelike appearance, and many cheese shops, butcher shops, and wine shops still provide services to local residents.
There are flowers, old churches, and cobblestone roads everywhere.
It feels like my breathing has slowed down here.
Tuscany, I would call it a must-drive in this lifetime.

Adventure renting bike 🏍️ and highlights
##motortravel
One of the best adventure on my list in Florence!
This was a beautiful day trip. Renting a bike in Florence is extremely easy and convenient. It is suggest to prepare a “map” or “route” with all the places you would like to explore.
If starting form Florence, I would suggest you to start your day early by exploring San Gimignano and the neighbors. We found extremely fascinating exploring the streets and stop for a coffee, aperitif and quick lunch. If you have the bike for more than a day, I extremely suggest you visiting Pienza! Pienza is located few hours from Florence but the street to get there is really cool!
We also got an aperitif in Montalcino.. which probably was one of my least favorite place, but still I enjoyed being there and having fun!
You can rent a bike at any rental places in town:)
Ps: eat Florentine steak and get an aperitif during your trip in Florence!
If stopping in Florence for a bite I suggest Trattoria dell Oste.
Ducati may cost around 100-200 per day. Best time to rent is in June or September - October

Gladiator Shooting Spot 🇮🇹
#italytrip
My visit to the Gladiator Shooting Spot in Pienza was a memorable experience! 🌄📸 Located just outside this charming Tuscan town, the spot offers breathtaking views of the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes featured in the film *Gladiator*. The entrance is free, which is fantastic for travelers on a budget.
The view from this spot is simply stunning, showcasing the iconic cypress-lined roads and the idyllic countryside that make Tuscany so famous. 🌿🌳 It’s a perfect place for photography enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates natural beauty. I spent a few hours enjoying the panoramic scenery and taking photos.
Nearby, Pienza itself is a delightful town known for its Renaissance architecture and delicious Pecorino cheese. 🧀🍷 I strolled through the quaint streets, explored local shops, and had a fantastic meal at a local trattoria. If you're in Tuscany, visiting the Gladiator Shooting Spot is a great way to enjoy both the cinematic history and the beautiful landscapes of the region. #trip #GladiatorShootingSpot #PienzaViews #TuscanCountryside #TravelPhotography #TuscanyMagic
