After walking around for a while, I got tired and hungry, so I headed straight to the food court. 2. Graham Street Go to Graham Street, which is a cute street art. 3. Hong Kong Cultural Centre Take the train and get off at Tsim Sha Tsui Station, then walk there. It takes less than 10 minutes to get there. I must say that it is very beautiful. You will definitely get to eat it quickly. Get off at Central Station. Open from 08:00 – 21:00 10. Barista Coffee Company This cafe is also at Central Station. It is right across from Bakehouse. The coffee tastes good. There are not many people. There are tables to rest your legs during the day. Hehe Open from 08:00 – 18:00 11. Yick Flat Building This is a building where Hong Kong residents live. But it is also the location for filming the movie Transformers. The Nanshan Guanghua Temple in Putian is a famous ancient temple with a history of over a thousand years. It is one of the four great Buddhist monasteries in Fujian, along with Gushan Temple in Fuzhou, Nanputuo Temple in Xiamen, and Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou. Nanshan Guanghua Temple was founded in the second year of Yongding in the Southern Chen Dynasty, nearly 1,500 years ago, making it the oldest Buddhist temple in Putian's history. Throughout history, Guanghua Temple has been given names by two emperors: In the second year of Jingyun in the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Ruizong of Tang bestowed the name "Lingyan Temple" and commissioned the calligrapher Liu Gongquan to write a plaque, which was hung above the temple gate. From then on, Lingyan Temple became famous throughout the land and was known as a major Buddhist monastery in Fujian. In the first year of Taiping Xingguo in the Song Dynasty, Emperor Taizong bestowed the name "Guanghua Temple." At its peak, the temple consisted of two temples, ten courtyards, and one hundred and twenty hermitages, housing over a thousand monks and nuns. However, over its thousand-year history, Guanghua Temple inevitably suffered from natural and man-made disasters such as fires and earthquakes. I used a student ticket and got a discount. The ferry ride is about 16 mins. Book tickets in advance. ✅Attractions Goose Tail God Stone Park—Feiji Cave—Sea Plank Road—Mazu Temple—Meizhou Island Tidal Sound—Golden Beach—Rainbow Road Many people take their children to play in the water at the beach. You can bring what you need if you want to play too. (I can share my itinerary later if needed) ✅Food As someone from Fujian, I think all kinds of Putian seafood noodles are delicious. I recommend Mazu noodles, seafood noodles, Putian braised noodles, and Four Fruit Soup to friends from other provinces (I only took one picture of the food). On the way back, there are seafood products like dried squid, dried scallops, seaweed, etc. (sold at stalls and by elderly women). They are quite cheap, so buy some to take home. The small southern city of Putian has many hidden temples, and Meifeng Guangxiao Temple is one of them. It is not only one of the four major Buddhist monasteries in Putian, but also one of the birthplaces of Buddhism in Fujian. Originally built in the Song Dynasty, Guangxiao Temple is located on Meizigang, Meifeng Mountain, which is full of plum blossoms, so it is also called Meifeng Guangxiao Temple. The "Meilin Buddhist Temple" plaque we see in the Zhanbai Pavilion was originally handwritten by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty in the second year of Chongning (1103 AD). Guangxiao Temple is backed by Meifeng Mountain.
