Upon arriving at the lakes, you can walk or either get a boat on the lake to enjoy this wonderland. For food, there are several options outside the lake. When I arrived in Xining, I put on a sweater first. The weather was still very cold. It should be cold all year round because the hotel I stayed at did not have air conditioning. That means none at all!! I had to open the window to let in the fresh air. But it was not hot. I slept comfortably.
