Rasdhoo is an inhabited island in the Maldives where you can go diving and have a vacation. There are not many restaurants on the island and there are relatively few tourists, but the diving environment there is very good. It takes about 20 minutes by boat to reach the diving spot. This time I went to the 1860 Dive Shop to participate in the diving activities. The boss is from Hong Kong and arranges the activities very carefully. In addition, you can see a lot of sharks while diving. It is a place worth diving. The uninhabited island beach over there is also very beautiful, you must go there. #

They are wonderful and offer the best prices we found on the island. The dive equipment is almost brand new as the dive shop is not very old. The equipment is also more top of the line and feels great when diving. The masks are soft on the face and don't leave huge marks after diving. The regulators are kept clean and the air flows smooth and easily. BCD fits snug and easy to keep good buoyancy. The dive boat is clean and large. It is easy to move around and not crammed at all. My plan was to do three dives but I loved this company and dives so much that I ended up doing more.

One of the best places to stay for a few nights in Rasdhoo. Thoroughly enjoyed the people there, friendly and warm and approachable. Love the dedication to making their guests feel welcomed and more importantly, at home. Really had an amazing time snorkeling at the beach as well as chatting with the people. There are excursions (such as the magical sandbank experience and the manta ray, sea turtles experiences) worth joining and the awesome arrangements made by the manager really made our stay at Shallow Lagoon a superb one. A beautiful beach, sunbeds are falling to pieces though and there is a lot of dead coral in the shallow water here. Snorkeling is amazing, go when the tide is in so that you can swim out. Over on the right side of the beach, there is a pole out in the water, head for that. We have seen black tip sharks, turtles, rays and a multitude of amazing beautiful fish - big and small. Please be careful not to touch the corals, they take a long time to grow.

Our first trip to the Maldives took us to Veligandu Island, located in the North Ari Atoll. This tropical paradise is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, luxurious accommodations, and peaceful private environment. We reached the island via a 20-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport, which offered breathtaking aerial views of the atolls and crystal-clear waters below. Veligandu Island is home to the Veligandu Island Resort & Spa, where we stayed for our entire 3-day, 2-night trip. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff, who led us to our beautiful overwater villa. The villa was located above the sea, accessible via a wooden walkway. We spent our time doing nothing but lying down, relaxing, and soaking in the view of the clear blue sea stretching out to the horizon. It was one of the best trips we've ever experienced. The island's privacy and beauty were unparalleled, and we are already longing to return.

After searching a lot of days for a local island, we decided to go to Rasdhoo. Maybe it will sound crazy but we spent 21 nights there😁 a lot of people have told us to stay in more islands not only in Rasdhoo but we don’t regret. Why? Because that island was PERFECT. The fact that we had a huge coral reef with endless species of fishes, sharks, turtles and more…it was just UNREAL!! I think that choosing a local island can lead you to another planet, you just starting to be a part of that culture, of that people, you become a Maldivian😂 (how to not become a Maldivian after 21 days lol) I can’t explain the peaceful life that we had there, it was so romantic and beautiful. The people in Rasdhoo are very kind and friendly. I recommend you to eat at Lemon Drop, it’s the best restaurant there. I recommend you also to go to swim with mantas and nurse sharks because if you don’t do it, it’s like you have never been in Maldives, it’s mandatory 😁😁 The beach is so amazing but you need shoes because of the corals.
