Roppongi's Sakura Street – Just Like in the Japanese Dramas! 🌸
#cherryblossom25
This year, in addition to the cherry blossoms along the Kanda River, Roppongi's Sakura-zaka is definitely worth a visit! It offers a more urban feel for cherry blossom viewing. Plus, with the pedestrian bridge offering a great view, it feels like stepping into a Japanese drama I used to watch as a kid. Add in the sunny weather, and the atmosphere is just perfect! ☀️
To get there, just search for Sakurazaka Park on your map, and walk in the direction where the cherry trees are in full bloom! Here are some great photo spots I recommend:
Curved road: You can capture more cherry trees here, and it’s great for both people and scenery shots! Just avoid standing in the middle of the road for photos. 📸
Pedestrian bridge: Start by taking some photos under the bridge, then walk up to the bridge from the nearby children's park for a stunning view of cherry blossoms. A great spot to capture the beauty with your camera!
This area has an elegant, old-money vibe. Every now and then, you'll see luxury cars driving by. Nearby, you can also visit the Roppongi Hills Art Museum, which offers a high vantage point to see the Tokyo Tower, or grab brunch at the popular Bricolage Bread & Co., just next to the cherry blossoms.
The art museum currently has an AI exhibit, with tickets around 2,000 yen.
The avocado toast at the brunch spot is delicious, and the cherry trees right outside make it the perfect spot for a photo. The staff is friendly, and on rainy days, the queue isn't too long! 🍞🥑🌸
