Huta Siallagan is a historic and cultural village located in Ambarita, on Samosir Island in Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Indonesia. In the Batak language, Huta Siallagan means the Village of Siallagan Clan. The village was founded by King Siallagan hundreds of years ago. It is renowned for its traditional Batak Toba architecture and its historical significance to the Batak people. There are a number of traditional Bolon and Sopo houses which are traditional houses of the Batak people. At the center of Huta Siallagan you can see two sets of large stones carved into chairs encircling a stone table. Aek Rangat is a well-known hot spring located on Samosir Island in Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Situated on the western shore of Samosir Island, Aek Rangat offers beautiful views of Lake Toba and the surrounding landscape. The hot springs at Aek Rangat are naturally heated by geothermal activity. The mineral-rich waters are believed to have therapeutic properties and provide a relaxing experience. The larger bath house was not open during my visit. The guide brought me to a small restaurant next to it which had a tiny pool with hotspring water. Aek Rangat offers a natural and rustic experience so the facilities are basic. We stopped by Parhallow Viewpoint and Coffee Shop for lunch during the tour around Samosir Island, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The viewpoint is about 7 km and 15 min drive from Tomok Ajibata Port. It is a scenic spot and coffee shop which offers breathtaking views of Lake Toba, one of the largest volcanic lakes in the world formed by a massive volcanic eruption approximately 74,000 years ago. The restaurant serves simple local delicacies and a variety of beverages, including locally sourced coffee and tea. #indonesiatrip Good place, for hiking and refreshing. Entry fee is IDR 5.000 per person, IDR 10.000 for parking. There are several mountains in this place. I will always prefer to visit it again and again. It's actually a well kept place, clean. No waiting line, no booking required. You can always spend as much time as you need inside once you have bought the ticket.

#mymymemories#awesomepic We have been eyeing bukit holbung in samosir regency for the longest time, so when the opportunity to camp for a night on the hill arrived we grabbed it without much thought. I would recommend to hire a driver if u are in a group. He collected us from Medan Airport and arranged the camping trip complete with tents and cooking utensils. It turned out that the trip was very memorable and peaceful. The landscape was #awesomepic picturesque as far as the eyes can see. The weather was not the best, however it did not hamper our excitement. Important to note that public toilets were available at the foothill. There was one at midhill but the condition was not great and no water supply! Apart from that, we had an enjoyable camping trip with the best view.
