I drove through the desert from Las Vegas, which was about a two-hour trip, making it a perfect day trip or even an overnight camping destination for nature lovers. One of the highlights was visiting Joshua Tree National Park, where the entrance fee was $30 per vehicle. The park is famous for its iconic Joshua trees and striking rock formations. I spent hours hiking the Hidden Valley Trail, exploring Barker Dam, and just soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The desert really comes alive at sunset, with the sky turning shades of pink and orange, and the stars at night are incredible – I’ve never seen the Milky Way so clearly! 🌌 Another must-see is the Kelso Dunes, which are located in the Mojave National Preserve. Climbing these towering dunes was a workout, but the views from the top were worth every step. Nearby, the town of Barstow offers a glimpse into classic Route 66 Americana with its quirky roadside diners and vintage shops. When the afternoon sun shines on the bottle, its far away and you can see the dazzling light. . Elmer Long, 70 years old, built this forest with a variety of discarded glass bottles collected in the desert. You can't help but admire these creative bottle trees, and you can listen to the beautiful sound of the wind blowing trees. . On the road of self-driving, you can encounter "different" scenery everywhere.

The stay at the Airbnb in Joshua Tree Yucca Valley was truly satisfying. The charming decor created a sentimental atmosphere, and it felt like every small item was carefully considered. The lighting was warm, making the nights even cozier, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking convenient. Most of all, the sky filled with stars at night was truly mesmerizing. Thanks to the quiet surroundings, we could fully enjoy the starlight, and the outdoor space allowed us to spend relaxing moments in the breeze. If you want to spend a special time in Joshua Tree, I highly recommend it.

A night at Joshua Tree Airbnb was truly too short. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, with a stylish interior that allowed for a relaxing stay. Additionally, there were many activities nearby to enjoy nature, making one day feel insufficient. Stargazing, hiking, and spending leisurely time in nature were all great. I wanted to spend more time there, but one night was too short to enjoy everything. Next time, I would like to stay longer and enjoy the various activities.

Walking around Pioneertown, California you may feel a sudden sense of Deja Vu and you wouldn’t be wrong. Built by Hollywood for the ever growing Western film industry, the real life set was used for a vast amount of films, tv shows and commercials since the 1940s Now an inhabited town with a population of just under 500 be sure to visit the famous Pappy and Harriet’s on your stay a legendary venue which can count Paul Mcartney and Led Zeplin amongst the acts that have performed there. #western #califronia

#thingstodo This is my review for Joshua tree national park and surrounding desert. This is one of my favorite places in the country. I love visiting here in the winter time renting a jeep and putting the insurance to good use on some of the awsome rocky trails they have here. This place is usually pretty dry being a desert however it does seem to get some rain in February early march sometimes. There are a ton of places to explore and the rock formations are second to none. Dusk and dawn are just here are the most amazing times this is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. Im hoping to see a desert tortoise one of this days there is certainly a lot of wild life mixed in with rich mining history and ruins. like being in the national park but you can bring dogs, bikes etc. unfortunately a lot of people camp at the informal camp sites and leave piles of garbage, dirty TP etc. please be responsible and treat this area with respect. If you’re camping here please pick up your trash and pack it out. Lots of people have been staying here and leaving human feces, broken bottles and other trash in the area. This just makes us look bad and pisses off the locals who come here to hike. This is how we lose places like this
