Today's ride: 57 km The tomb of Li Rong at the end of Tanyu Road in Shijingshan, which is not even on Gaode Maps. ​🌺 Ming Dynasty eunuch Li Rong, some articles say he was from Luoyang, Henan, while others say he was from Sanyuan, Shaanxi. I couldn't find any authoritative information. ​Li Rong was born in 1440 and entered the palace at the age of 10 during the reign of Emperor Yingzong. He outlived four emperors and lived to see the fifth emperor, the infamous Emperor Zhengde, who was rumored to have ADHD. Li Rong died in the seventh year of the Zhengde era at the age of 83. It is said that eunuch Li Rong was honest and straightforward, and he was a dedicated eunuch who served the emperor faithfully and communicated well with the ministers. During the Zhengde era, when the famous eunuch gang led by Liu Jin, known as the Eight Tigers, disrupted the court, eunuch Li Rong served as their superior, the Chief Eunuch of the Directorate of Ceremonial, and was a loyal supporter of Emperor Zhengde, remaining untainted by corruption. ​🌺 ​After Li Rong's death, Emperor Zhengde personally ordered a grand funeral for him, presided over by several high-ranking eunuchs of the time. Facilities such as restrooms and small refreshment stands are available, though they can be somewhat sparse. It's close to a shopping mall and subway station too.

This place was also once a thriving holy land for cultivating immortals😎 · Shijingshan Ancient Wells: The Springs of Time of the Shijingshan Twin Eyes Ancient Wells look like two small wells, resembling a pair of eyes👀.😁 It is said that in ancient times, there was only one perilous path in Shijingshan. A woman climbing the South Heaven Gate suddenly fainted and was rescued by a water-carrying monk. After waking up, the woman found herself paralyzed in both legs and became silent and reticent. The sweet source of the ripples of time, it is said to be a generous gift from a donor, nourishing the hearts and daily lives of the practitioners in the ancient building complex of the Bixia Yuanjun Temple. · Bixia Yuanjun Temple: It is said that this place is very effective for those praying for children. Among the quiet courtyards, every stone carving is a banner and words of blessing, also known as the "Descendants Hall," where ancient people would pray for children and tie dolls👶🏻. Standing at the highest point of the Gongbei Pavilion, you can look far into the distance, overlooking the entire Shougang Park, with the slow-flowing Yongding River in view😎. Whether I'm there for fun or for work, Joy City in West Beijing is always a convenient spot to wind down, with plenty of options for dining and shopping. The development in West Beijing is indeed impressive, with convenient access to life, leisure, and entertainment. In my family's words: 'Nowadays, you have everything you need.'
