Walking along the ancient streets, the cobblestones beneath my feet seem to tell stories of the past. The architectural styles along the street are diverse, with the elegance of the Ottoman Empire and traces of Austro-Hungarian rule. Different cultures collide and blend here, creating the unique allure of Sarajevo. I arrive at the Latin Bridge, a seemingly ordinary stone bridge that was the spark of World War I. In 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife were assassinated here, igniting the flames of the First World War.
