#favouriteitinerary What I love about traveling across provinces in the Philippines is that every point is easily reachable with public transporation. It is a 10-minute tricycle ride from 1st Colonial uphill General Luna road. They implement fixed fare and it only costs Php 40 from the Hi-way. Upon arriving at the foot of the Church, the breathtaking view of Mt. Mayon is on the east. The picturesque sight of Mayon Volcano never fail to draw amazement while facade of Parish is carved with intrinsic details. The pure white Church looks more beautiful as it is surrounded with clear blue skies. It is written in the entrance that the Our Lady of the Gate Parish (La Nuestra Señora de Porterìa) is historically built in 1773 with Volcanic Rocks. This hispanic baroque architechture was then restored and the interiors is re-designed with modern style. This is the same Church where "KathNiel" shot one scene in the local film "She's Dating The Gangster". There are stores across the Chuch and tricycles readily available to move you around the city.
