This time I visited Miyahara, and of course, I couldn't miss their most famous ice cream! The store offers over 50 flavors, with an incredible variety to choose from. From rich chocolate and aromatic tea flavors to refreshing Taiwanese fruit flavors, each one makes it hard to decide. I ended up choosing a combination of Tieguanyin tea and Irwin mango. The tea was rich and fragrant, the mango was flavorful, and paired with handmade cookies and pineapple cakes, the texture was rich and every bite was a delight! Besides the ice cream, the souvenirs here are also very attractive, with exquisite and unique packaging. I specifically picked up some pineapple cakes, cheesecake, and chocolate to bring home so my family could also taste the deliciousness of Taichung. Overall, Miyahara is not only a visual treat but also a culinary delight. I highly recommend it to friends visiting Taichung! Suigetsurou is a restaurant located on the second floor of Miyahara Eye Clinic, which is famous in Taichung. Miyahara Eye Clinic's ice cream is also available to sit and eat, although the selection is limited. Only Suigetsurou customers can go up to the second floor or higher, so it may be a privilege to be able to see the wonderful interior from the upper floors. The toilets are also spacious, so please use them when you visit the restaurant. I ordered two flavors: #SeaSaltCaramel and #OrientalBeauty 🍨 Sea salt caramel, you can taste the rich caramel aroma and slightly salty sea salt in every bite, it is definitely an unforgettable taste! It's a super delicious taste, a must order. The tea aroma of Oriental Beauty is very rich, which is very suitable for people who like to drink tea, and the taste when paired with ice cream is really amazing! Finally, I would like to introduce that if you become a member of Miyahara Eye Clinic, you can upgrade your double scoop of ice cream to a sundae (saving 80 yuan) and you can choose a small scoop of ice cream yourself. I chose Kyoho grapes, which have a very refreshing taste, just like eating a real grape, fresh and sweet, perfect for summer. #Spring0yenTrip First, I walked around Fengjia Night Market in Taichung. As the evening approached, the number of people increased, and I was naturally drawn to the lights and smells of the food stalls. It was fun just to wander around, munching on chicken and cucumber balls, browsing the miscellaneous goods stalls, and looking around at the games. There was some kind of event going on along the river, and it was lit up and very beautiful. I also stopped by Miyahara Eye Clinic. Inside the retro building, I found a heavy space like a library, and ate ice cream there. The medicine bottle-style packaging and chocolates were interesting, and it was perfect for finding souvenirs. Taichung Station was rebuilt, but the old buildings remain, and many shops were set up, making it lively. It was impressive to see buildings from the Japanese colonial era being used in this way, and it was a place where history and the present naturally blended together.

Miyahara Eye Clinic is located near the Taichung Railway Station and next to the Green River. It is a gorgeous red brick building with a retro high-ceiling space design, which looks like the scene of Hogwarts School in Harry Potter. Must take pictures. Must go. Must check in. Sunrise pineapple cake paired with ice cream is a perfect combination. Gorgeous and beautiful. You can enjoy a stroll around Green River and try the Taiwanese Chen Shacha Hotpot, a must-try delicacy. Miyahara Eye Clinic is a popular spot that most people who visit Taichung head to. An eye clinic?! People who don't know about it might be surprised, but the building used to be an eye clinic and is now a sweets shop! The sweets at Miyahara Eye Clinic have cute packaging designs! They have tea, nougat, cookies, chocolate, and even small castella cakes that are easy to give as gifts. It's fun just looking at the sweets, as they're all packages that make you want to buy them. The designs are perfect for gifts, so they're perfect as souvenirs! The price range is from 180 TWD, which is a little expensive compared to local sweets💦 It's about a 5-minute walk from Taichung Station, and many Taiwanese people visit the store, so it was crowded😁 Also, there was a line at the place where they sell the piled-up ice cream that is often posted on Instagram😂 (The entrance is separate from the sweets area!) No. 8, Zhanqu 2nd Rd, Wuri District, Taichung City, Taiwan 414 This is the first time my family and I took the high speed railway train to Taichung. The journey only took about an hour, compared to taking a bus which will take 3 hours or longer. The train fare cost 800 twd one way. You can get a discount if you purchase them earlier, and online. During the journey, we were able to use the free WiFi. There were staff pushing the tray and selling bento and drinks. There was a toilet on the train too. We enjoyed the great scenery of Taipei and Taichung. The peaceful farm life was incredible. We got a good glimpse of the farmer surroundings. I would recommend everyone to try their high speed railway to explore Taiwan during the fall season. #fallingforfall #tripblazers #family
