#favouriteitinerary The hotel itself is a destination. It has many good eateries and shops nearby. We were in the hotel for an engagement and everything was taken care of to a magnificent level. Genuine friendliness of the people make you feel right at home. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with Asian and a limited number of Western options. The Lobby is grand and has the most friendly staff working there. The only drawback is the rather hard mattress but we had a really good sleep. This is one of the better hotels I've stayed in here in Vietnam, specially in terms of sound proofing. You can barely hear anything from the busy road downstairs.

Arrived early from HCMC airport and was allowed to check in to the room in the morning so I could shower and sleep after a long flight. Paid for mountain view room and the view was excellent. Melia beds are so big and soft, and I had excellent sleep. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower. Soft towels and bathrobes. The swimming pool is excellent, and nice soft towels are provided at the pool. The pool has rubber rings for children (or overgrown children :) ) to use. Breakfast had so many choices, all excellent quality. The hotel is in the vincom complex, with Winmart supermarket. Next to the hotel is VPBank ATM, which did not charge an ATM withdrawal fee for my UK Starling Card. I would definitely stay here again when in Tay Ninh. All staff are friendly and welcoming.

#favouriteitinerary I had the pleasure of visiting Gò Kén Pagoda, also known as Thiền Lâm Pagoda. Located about 7 to 8 kilometers from the town. The pagoda's architecture is a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western styles, reflecting both ancient and modern influences. As I entered the spacious 6,000-square-meter complex, I was immediately drawn to the 25-meter-high statue of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva riding a dragon, majestically standing in the middle of a circular lake. Nearby, a 25-meter-long reclining Buddha adds to the site's spiritual ambiance. The courtyard features a meditating Buddha under a verdant Bodhi tree, exuding peace and tranquility. The nine-story Chinese-style pagoda structure and the 108 prayer. Despite its historical significance dating back to the early 20th century, Gò Kén Pagoda isn't overrun by tourists, making it a perfect spot for quiet reflection.

#favouriteitinerary Ba-Den Mountain is a definite must see for travellers to Tay Ninh. You can use a cable car. There are two of them: many to the top of mount, the other to the beautiful pagoda. After temple complex, I took the other cable car up to top of mountain where you can see the largest Buddah statue in Vietnam Nice complex at top, statues and water features, flower gardens, etc. Great view of the wide river, city, and landscape below. Really enjoyed our day here with plenty to do. The amayzing ride ends at the bottom of the mountain. Many temples to view and worshipers bringing offerings. Yet - peaceful. I enjoyed the colors, smell of incense, sounds of birds, rustling leaves, etc. I also appreciated opportunity for a bit of exercise climbing the stone steps to visit the large what’s reclining Buddha. We enjoyed the tour!
