#photolocation Ngapali beach is one of the popular beach among locals and tourists in Myanmar 🇲🇲. It is located in Rakhine state, closed to the Thailand. It is convenient to go to Ngapali by plane (or car). The flight from Yangon-Shangduo, and the duration is about 45 minutes. If you go by car, you will have to drive about 400 km through the road that goes from Yangon-Pathein to Rayong-Yamthay River-Gu-Samdu-Ngapali. I have arrived at Ngapali, where will I stay? I think that is important. If you can roughly divide Ngapali into 3 parts, if you start from the airport side, it will be Zephyukone - Lintha - Myaphon. Zee Phyukone (otherwise known as Ngapali Old Hill by the locals) - from the airport. If you want to stay on a budget, there are guest houses on that side. Myanmar is worldwide known for thousands of temples and Buddist monuments in Bagan; or the unique fishermen in Inle Lake – the second largest lake in Myanmar. But it will only be a full experience of Burma once you travel to Ngapali; which has been told as a tropical paradise with pristine beaches and blue-mint turquoise water. Ngapali beach in general Located on the west coast of Myanmar – the Rakhine State, Ngapali Beach is about 300km northwest of Yangon. The best and quickest way to Ngapali from Yangon is by plane; since there is an airport near to the beach which is called Thandwe. Averagely there are 3 flights operated a day by Myanmar National Airlines, Air KBZ and Hahn Air, mainly from morning to noon. Each direct flight will take about 50 minutes; then you will need 20 minutes more to get to Ngapali beach from Thandwe airport. So in general, quite a short journey! You can also take bus or private transfer from Yangon, however it will swallow more than 14 hours of yours. Not highly recommended but suitable for budgeted travelers.

And you will satisfy and be happy during your holidays. You can do water activities such as snorkeling and diving. Pearl island is a nice spot for snorkeling.You will love to see underwater world. If you love fishing, you can also go fishing as well. Next, you can go trekking and play golf with nine holes. Don't miss to try fresh seafoods. They are delicious. If you have time, you should visit fishing villages.

#besttrip2023 The highlight of this trip to Ngapali Beach in Myanmar was a little luxury and a stay at Yoma Cherry Lodge. This is a small hotel with 16 rooms in total, managed by an English grandmother, but the tropical gardens are beautifully designed in a compact area, and are tastefully arranged using English garden techniques. Advantages: * crystal clean water in the ocean * nice local people (actually as mostly all over the country) * can rent a scooter (need to bargain with owners) * a lot of local food restaurants Disadvantages: * actually Ngapaly beach is not the best beach I’ve seen, so if the beach is average, please add some more entertainments then usual for every beach boat tour, and very poor snorkelling. * mostly facilities are poor, cuz Ngapaly mostly oriented for hotel all inclusive way of leisure, what is actually kind of out of trend old fashioned way of spending time
