📍Overview of the trip Follow the series, experience the atmosphere of ancient China 🚇How to get there In the past, you had to take the train to Yiwu and then take a bus to Hengdian, but now Hengdian Railway Station is open. Traveling is much more convenient. You can take the high-speed train from Shanghai directly to Hengdian. Then you can call a didi for 10-20 yuan to go to your hotel or various tourist attractions. 📷Tourist attractions There are more than 10 tourist areas in Hengdian, 6-7 highlight zones and a few small sub-zones. We bought a 3-day, 5-zone ticket from Trip for 500 yuan. We chose to visit 5 zones: - Mingqing Palace - Qin Palace - Qingming River Shanghetu - Spring New Garden - Summer New Garden The first 3 zones are highlights that fans of the series should visit at least once because every corner you walk through will make you go, "Wow!" I've seen it in the series before. Luckily, when I went, it was after a long holiday, so there weren't too many people. Qingming Shanghetu is also open until 10 pm. So you can see the night view with magnificent lights (normally, it opens until around 5pm outside the festival). The last 2 zones are new gardens that have just been completed. The Spring Garden is very large. There are dozens of ancient Chinese-style palaces. If you walk, your legs will definitely be tired. You even have to rent a car for 180 yuan. It's very expensive but worth it because you really can't walk. The Summer Garden is located next door, but it's more European-style buildings. If you want to change the atmosphere, you can stop by and see it. It's like visiting 4-5 countries in one day. Another suggestion is to check the show times. Each zone has free shows, such as horseback riding, sword fighting, heaven and earth worshiping ceremonies, small theaters, etc. If you really want to see all the shows, you might need to spend a whole day in each zone.
