After my visit, I strolled down Mueller Lake Park and indulged in the local eateries nearby, like Halcyon and Lick Honest Ice Creams. Hank’s also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and their happy hour is bomb 💣🥂 This was taken in February 2023. Iesha and I needed a change of scenery so we worked from this coffee shop for the day.

Oasis on Lake Travis is really the best sunset viewing spot in Austin! This hotel-style restaurant located on the top of the mountain has several viewing decks overlooking the entire lake beach and the buildings on the surrounding mountains. Under normal light, the lake and mountains are unremarkable, but when the weather is good, the sunset sky is splendid, dyeing the lake surface, coupled with the wide view from the top of the mountain, it is very suitable for couples to check in or for besties to take photos.
