Winter hiking in the Yeongnam Alps, Mt. Gajisan, even for children

🤍 If you want to go the shortest distance, I recommend starting from Seoknam Tunnel, and if you want to hike a bit, I recommend starting from Seoknamsa Temple! For reference, I started from Seoknam Tunnel.
🤍 Time required: I think it should be about four or five hours round trip. It took me three hours and twenty minutes even for a beginner.
🤍 Clothing tip: It is important to wear thin layers of clothing, but you should not wear too many. I wore a functional short-sleeved T-shirt, heat tech, man-to-man, lightweight padding, winter padding, leggings, fleece hiking pants, and a baltos. In conclusion, you don't need to wear this much. In particular, thick winter padding is not recommended. It was too hot for me. 🥲 Oh, and a hat, earmuffs, gloves (it doesn't have to be thick. I was too stuffy because I had ski gloves), hiking boots, and crampons are essential. Please refer to this and climb safely.
🤍 Gajisanjang: Even if you're not hungry, eat ramen! I wasn't really hungry so I wasn't going to eat, but I got some ramen and inhaled it. ㅋㅋㅋ It's a mountain ramen with fish cakes, dumplings, and dried pollack, and it only costs 5,000 won. It's really delicious, so make sure to try it.
🤍 It's not easy to see snow in the Gyeongsang-do region. So I went on my first winter hike on January 1st to see the closest snow. Since I didn't go to see it, most people were coming down at the same time I was going up.
Conclusion: I'm very satisfied! I think I'll be able to start this year off happily. Happy New Year to everyone. :)
