King Myeongjong personally calligraphed a new sign for the academy and also changed its name to Seosuseowon which means, "an academy where one is cleaned through perpetuation of scholarship." UNESCO claims sosu means, "to revive and advance the broken pieces of Confucianism." Over 4,000 were taught here until
1888. Seosuseowon was one of only 47 Confucian academies to survive the seowon purge ordered by King Daewongun (Yi Ha-eung) in 1871. For location is

Cafe Noxgoji with a beautiful night view of Yeongju City☕️
I came back to Knoxgoji almost a year after my first visit
I was looking forward to visiting in the evening because the night view of Yeongju's downtown area is pretty, but it had a much better atmosphere than last year🔮
The night view from the rooftop was pretty, and the water garden on the outdoor terrace was also
so pretty🩵If you go back after some time,
it will either be much prettier than before,
or it will be more worn and not managed,
but it feels like it has completely established itself as a Yeongju hot place,
so it was very crowded even in the evening!
I recommend it as a Yeongju cafe☕️

Guryong Valley
#koreatrip
"Guryong Valley is a stunning natural escape with crystal-clear streams, lush forests, and beautiful rock formations. I visited during summer, and it was the perfect place to cool off—the refreshing streams were great for dipping my feet after a long hike. The trail through the valley was easy to walk and had several scenic spots, including small waterfalls and unique rock formations shaped by the flowing water over time. One of my favorite parts was the legend of the nine dragons that are said to have lived in the valley, adding a mystical touch to the experience. The air was fresh, and the sound of the running water made it incredibly relaxing. Since it’s not as well-known as other national parks, it wasn’t crowded, which made the visit even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic nature spot, Guryong Valley is a fantastic choice!"

☕️ A hidden cafe in Yeongju, a great place with a beautiful pool view and latte art 🌿
Introducing Noxgorge, a gem of a cafe I found in Yeongju! This place is a place where modern sensibility and tradition are exquisitely combined.
The most impressive thing is the beautiful pool and pine trees located in the middle of the cafe. The pine trees standing tall in the middle of the pool surrounded by concrete walls are reminiscent of a small garden. Lounge chairs surround the pool, making it perfect for a leisurely rest. 💫
The drinks are also really special! The drinks I ordered had four different flavors. From the heart-designed latte art to the signature ade, both the visual and the taste were satisfying.
If you need healing while sightseeing in Yeongju, be sure to stop by! You can take a picture of your life and make special memories with a delicious drink in this special space that you reach when you climb the grand stairs. 📸✨ Parking is also available, so you can visit comfortably!

This is Yeongju Buseoksa, a world cultural heritage site.
There are ginkgo trees on the way up,
and it's a great place with beautiful natural scenery.
The quiet atmosphere of the mountains and the temple architecture blend well together,
especially in the fall, many people come to see the fall foliage!
I think it would be better to come in different seasons because there are many mountains and trees around.

Each building of Buseoksa Temple shows the essence of traditional Korean architecture, while the surrounding natural scenery creates a quiet and pious atmosphere.
According to legend, the name of this place comes from **‘floating rock’**, and even now, a large rock called ‘Buseok’ is located near the temple, which holds a mysterious story. In addition, Buyeo Temple has a well-preserved Josadang, a five-story stone pagoda, and various national treasures and treasures, making it a place where you can deeply experience Korean Buddhist architecture and cultural heritage.
