A super fun day in York, England🎉
York is really fun 👍👍👍👍
Before introducing York be sure to introduce York pass, must buy!
As long as you will have one day arranged to be in York have to buy!
Basically all kinds of museums, churches within York Center are included in the pass.
Then I have to share my itinerary, because the time is limited, although the pass is included 24 hours, but the sightseeing bus, the museum business hours are sitting at 9 to 6 hours, so it is impossible to play everything.
Let me start with my original itinerary, taking the first bus to York Castle at the gate of the cathedral at 9am
First stop > Walk a few minutes to join the chocolate workshop's chocolate introduction interest class (explain the making process, tasting, etc., after the store buy anything at the store discount, chocolate is really good, his store has handmade chocolate to buy and handmade chocolate drinks and cakes, are very tasty)
> York Castle (beautiful scenery, lots of explanations on it, it has a web page with Chinese you can read)
> York Museum (5 star recommendation, not a boring museum, a lot of things to do, a lot of interesting things to see, because after seeing the British Museum, the British museum has a bias to arrange 45 minutes to be, at least to play one and a half to two hours is enough, we have two museums not enough time to walk, no time to play slowly, this museum must go!)
>York Cruise (because its website writes almost an hour, and Yorkpass has a private restaurant lunch available from 12 to 2, so I can only choose the 12 o'clock boat, it has two boarding locations, which station is back to which station to get off the boat 🫠
Generally recommended, if slow tour can take a boat to see the scenery on both sides, all the way there is a beautiful English voice sister introduced both sides of the special architectural scenery history and the like,
>Restaurant, good food, order an appetizer to serve a main course, very affordable in the expensive UK, the restaurant is very good.
>It was going to be a nearby cathedral, but there was a temporary event not open that day. . . . I have checked online many times and do not know how to tell which days an event will not be open, however I have been reminded again and again that it is best to check the opening days and times before going.
>Since the cathedral is not open, you can only arrange to go elsewhere, do not waste the pass, fortunately many of its facilities although written best reservation, however open walkin.
>Vikings Museum, recommended, its attendants are medieval dressed, really cool, important high-tech museum, sitting in a car automatically move in high imitation figures and scenes, most importantly, few museums in the UK have Chinese explanations to choose from!
>Then we went to play York Haunted House, this haunted house is chain-style, almost every city I have been to has one, should be different in theme, it is the most affordable facility in this pass! ! ! ! It’s genuinely fun, with horror, a historical component, and it’s fun to keep changing scenes in the process and the performance will interact with the audience! If it weren't for the fact that the cathedral is not open, I would definitely miss it! 5 star recommendation!
>Finally go to the meat shop street for a walk, but mainly to check in, instead there is a market near the meat shop street, a lot of things to buy and have food, have time to arrange to walk there for a while!
