"Took about 20 minutes cab to the airport. Large, older style hotel. Staff were very friendly and the room was huge and very comfy. There was a slight smell of smoking but not too bad. Apparently there was a gym but it was under reconstruction. There is an excellent world's gym around the corner at the mall. Costs 650 twd per day though. The location to the mall makes it good for an evening meal. Hotel Breakfast was OK. I did not care for the fighter fish inside each table flower vase in the hotel restaurant. Live animals are not table ornaments, even fish."

"The room facilities were well-maintained, and the front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation. However, the deposit issue has been a hassle. It's been three weeks since I returned home, and more than 15 business days have passed, but the deposit still hasn't been refunded! I've contacted the hotel twice and my bank, but it's still unresolved! Usually, deposits are refunded instantly upon checkout. I've never encountered such a poorly managed 5-star hotel; it's truly unacceptable!"

"The internet signal in the windowless room on the 2nd floor was poor, and even the room's Wi-Fi seemed to be completely disconnected. "The location was excellent. The opposite was the bus stop with less than 5 min travel to sengkeng old town. 7-11, family mart, watson and Louisa cafe was just next door. We can find a lot of local food stalls nearby within walking distance .Must try the ”Wong sifu ” Yam biscuit and honey cake and the shop just next to the hotel . Overall our stay experience was good as the staff was very friendly . another must try was the hotel lunch buffer which I find was good offer many varieties .the only area can be improved better is the hotel building was aging and will be perfect if they can upgrade it."

"The location is super convenient, right next to Kaohsiung Main Station, making it quick to get anywhere by metro, including Kaohsiung Arena and Liuhe Night Market, which are both nearby. We really loved the style of the hotel room; it had a nice European feel. The only minor drawback was that it was a bit dim in front of the bathroom mirror, which made putting on makeup a bit tricky, but overall, it felt amazing and super comfortable! For breakfast, in addition to the usual chicken, pork, and fish, there were also ********* options like egg pancakes, turnip cake, oyster omelets, soup dumplings, and teppanyaki noodles. Perhaps because we stayed for quite a while (five nights), the chef prepared special menus for us on the last two days, making steak and tiger prawn pasta, which was absolutely delicious. In the afternoon, there were also various light bites and drinks to enjoy, including special blended juices and even cheese foam tea. Most importantly, all the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful! If I visit Kaohsiung again, I would definitely choose this hotel without hesitation!"

"After checking out and heading to the airport for a late-night flight, I realized upon arriving at the airport that I had accidentally left my passport inside the safety deposit box in my room at Hotel Éclat Taipei. I immediately called the hotel and the staff responded right away by checking the safe and confirmed that my passport had been found.
The team was incredibly responsive and worked hard to arrange a way to get the passport to me before my flight. While they were trying to coordinate the delivery, the hotel's General Manager, Ms. Amy Yu, personally stepped in to help. She even came to the airport herself and, despite the urgency of the situation, when I asked how I should pay her back in return, she calmly reassured me not to worry about that at the moment and instead asked me to focus on getting through immigration and making my flight on time.
I was deeply touched by her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. She showed a level of empathy and dedication that is increasingly rare in today's hospitality industry. The staff and management did not have to go to such lengths to help me, but they did, and thanks to them I was able to retrieve my passport and continue my journey without disaster.
Beyond this unforgettable experience, the hotel itself is fantastic. The property has a unique artistic character, beautifully combining art, design, and luxury. It has a warm, creative atmosphere that makes it stand out from many other high-end hotels. Most importantly, it has something that cannot be easily taught or bought. The human touch, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality of the people here made all the difference.
Having stayed at several hotels in Taiwan, I can honestly say that Hotel Éclat Taipei stands out for its responsiveness and sincere care for its guests. My heartfelt thanks to Amy Yu and the entire team. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei."

Anonymous UserThe location is very convenient. The best part is the air conditioning – it's on the ceiling so it doesn't blow directly on you, and the controls are flexible. The room is also very spacious.
The best thing was that even though check-in was stated as 4:00 PM, we arrived early around 3:00 PM, and without us even asking, the front desk immediately checked us in.

Extremely satisfied! The front desk service was excellent, and they even offered snacks and drinks while we waited. The hotel also provided slippers, and all the snacks and drinks in the minibar were complimentary, plus we got a voucher for a free drink! The breakfast spread was fantastic! Truly memorable and overflowing with delights!

ZhaocaimaofuliThis was a pleasant stay. We were traveling with a child, and I had specifically requested a high floor in my Ctrip booking notes. To my surprise, the hotel really paid attention to it! The hotel has 30 floors in total, and they put us on the 29th floor, which was absolutely perfect with fantastic views.
**Cleanliness:** The room had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet was smart and very clean.
**Transportation:** The hotel is located right above Wanhua Railway Station. You just turn a corner from the ticketing hall of Wanhua Station and you're there. It's also only a 5-minute walk to Longshan Temple MRT Station.
**Local Food:** Around Longshan Temple MRT Station, there's an Oyster Vermicelli shop (diagonally opposite the 50 Lan milk tea shop) that you absolutely *must* try. The flavor is great and it's generously portioned. I dare say you won't find a better oyster vermicelli in all of Taiwan. Remember, next to the oyster vermicelli shop, there's a place selling grilled sausages – grab one of those too. Vermicelli + grilled sausage = a perfect combination! There's also a night market in Longshan Temple in the evenings.

I was very satisfied with this stay. It was my first time in Kenting, and I chose the Caesar Park Hotel. I pre-booked the shuttle from Zuoying, Kaohsiung, and everything went smoothly from the start. We arrived at the hotel in over two hours. Although it's 40 years old, the hotel is very well-maintained, the decor is modern, and the service attitude was excellent. Upon check-in, the front desk gave us dining vouchers for the Little Bay Bar and the hotel lobby bar. Sitting on Little Bay Beach opposite the hotel in the evening was very pleasant. The food at the lobby bar was also delicious!
The room came with new flip-flops, which were quite comfortable. All the facilities are new, there's a coffee machine, water dispensers on every floor, and self-service washing machines and dryers. The room also had complimentary drinks and snacks, and the soundproofing was excellent! Even with a garden view, it was still very beautiful, and you could see the mountain scenery.
The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Kenting Main Street. The lobby has bicycles available for rent, and there are also Ubikes outside. Taxis are also quite convenient! You need a ********* ID to rent a car.
Breakfast was also good and quite varied. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience!

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day.
The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this.
It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed.
Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

This stay was in the Pine View room, located in the newer annex. The facilities were new and clean, and the hot spring water quality was excellent. The overall lighting and environment were good. Unfortunately, the shower head was broken. The double bed was made of two single beds pushed together, and the mattresses felt quite old, with a noticeable bump where they joined but a dip in the middle, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. The breakfast offered a decent variety of Chinese and Western options. The staff were friendly and had a good attitude. I'd suggest they pay more attention to the quality control of the bamboo shoots served with the congee; they had a strong rancid smell, as if they'd been sitting for a long time.

This time I brought my wife to Taichung for her birthday, and we stayed at the Norway Forest Cultural Center for the first night. We arrived early to drop off our luggage and immediately experienced the friendly and polite service, which made me feel happy and warm. Although there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room when we checked in that evening, the front desk manager came up and helped us switch to a larger and more comfortable room. Their service attitude was also super nice. It's no wonder this hotel has reviews above 9 – it's absolutely deserved. If I have the chance to come again, it will definitely be my first choice! 🥰
