AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a great location, about a ten-minute walk from Cuihu Lake and also a ten-minute walk from Kunming Old Street, though in a different direction. There are many local eateries nearby, and shared electric bikes are very convenient. The room was very clean, no mosquitoes, and the hotel service was excellent. It was also quiet at night, so I slept well.

GGuest UserMy trip to Xishuangbanna was a last-minute decision. I booked my flight and headed off, but before leaving, I had to choose where to stay. I checked Ctrip, selecting the location, price, and amenities. After a comprehensive evaluation, I saw it was under the Hyatt umbrella and newly opened, so I decided. I took a taxi from the airport, but the road to the hotel was incredibly congested. After finally making it, I found the hotel to be quite new, and the service was excellent. Upon check-in, the staff handed me a glass of ice water, instantly dispelling the traffic jam. The hotel also provided complimentary breakfast and fruit. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was fantastic. There were plenty of barbecue grills and fruit shops nearby. My only slight regret was that it rained almost every day in Xishuangbanna, but thankfully, the hotel provided free umbrellas. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel with good value for money.

OOlive GohWhen I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

MMaoninixiaopengyouWould my photos convince you to stay at Banyan Tree Lijiang? Imagine having exclusive views of the snow-capped mountains – what worries could you possibly have then? **Service:** Banyan Tree's quality and service are always exceptional. I've stayed at their properties a few times, and the butler service is consistently thoughtful. This time, after running a marathon in Kunming, I came to Lijiang to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our butler, Alice, contacted me in advance. Because I'd requested a room with a great view, she upgraded us to a balcony view room. The moment I walked in, I felt that enduring severe altitude sickness was completely worth it. Alice's service was truly outstanding. My husband's ***** birthday was actually the next day, but Alice still delivered a birthday cake to the room, a double surprise! The other hotel staff were also excellent. The buggy service staff were very helpful, always assisting with luggage and incredibly enthusiastic. **Environment:** The hotel features a three-tiered courtyard style, directly facing the snow-capped mountains. Lijiang in winter has its own unique charm. It's only 700 meters from Shuhe Ancient Town, which is super convenient. While Lijiang Ancient Town is famous, Shuhe Ancient Town feels less commercialized and still retains some historical charm.

MM291317****The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I had a good sleep. The hotel has a strategic location, convenient transportation and convenient travel. The hotel has complete facilities, elegant hotel environment, exquisite decoration and tasteful decoration. The breakfast at the hotel is rich and varied. The pineapple rice is delicious. The rice noodles cooked by the aunt are more delicious than those in restaurants outside. The driver recommended by the hotel, Master Li, is super enthusiastic. The car is very clean and well maintained. He has a strong sense of service and responsibility and treats his work very well. Serious and responsible, he always pays attention to tourists' requirements. We sometimes play very late and never rush him. He is super patient. He also made a guide before coming. Master Li optimized the itinerary according to our requirements. He is trustworthy, super recommended, and super energetic young man. .

AAnonymous UserThe room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive. The brother was very generous, and the sister's breakfast was absolutely delicious! You can immediately see the beautiful scenery, so much so that you won't want to leave morning or night. With the Cangshan Mountains at its back and Erhai Lake in front, and the clouds floating overhead, the panoramic view is simply refreshing. Definitely remember your sunscreen! The brother and sister's tips were spot on ㄟ(≧◇≦)ㄏ. You can rent a small electric car directly to explore the surroundings, and the battery life is super impressive for round trips. There are also friendly little cats 🐱 ớ ᐋ ờ. I'll definitely come back and stay longer next time!

AAnonymous UserPros: Good value for money, especially suitable for families. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the balcony offered a spacious view. Airport/station pick-up service is available. Cons: It's located within a residential complex, so transportation isn't the most convenient. While Didi (ride-hailing) is readily available, walking to destinations would take a long time. Dining options nearby are limited, and the only delivery service we found took an hour and a half to arrive. Additionally, there's a construction site outside the balcony. You'll need to find a very specific angle to take a 'cover photo' quality shot of just the sea, otherwise, other buildings will be in the frame. The elevators within the complex are quite old/dated. Summary: Overall, if your family needs accommodation near the airport and plans to explore the Haidong area, this place could be a worthwhile option.

11380158****I booked this last-minute during the National Day holiday, and it was a huge surprise when I arrived! The room was spacious, simply decorated, and very stylish. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, especially the memory foam pillow – a godsend for someone like me with neck issues. From the tatami, you could see the sunlit Golden Mountain. I stayed for four nights, and the afternoon tea had slight variations each day. The common areas were also very comfortable, and breakfast involved slurping rice noodles while gazing at the snow-capped mountains! The butler staff, both male and female, were all very friendly and polite. Communication via WeChat was super prompt; they answered every question. There was a particular young lady from Guangzhou who was fantastic – she was my daily weather report before heading out, and she had all the info on the guesthouse's surroundings, attractions, and even various coffee shops! On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, there was even a complimentary mooncake and fruit display, so you could enjoy moon-gazing and snacking at your leisure! The guesthouse is right by Qingxi Lake, making for a very chill morning stroll. It's quiet at night too, perfect for a truly immersive escape. I will definitely be back!

TThrasher6sic6I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly situated near major sightseeing spots in Lijiang Ancient City. Its elevated location offers breathtaking views, allowing you to see almost the entire ancient city from the property—absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! The free breakfast was a delightful surprise, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff went above and beyond, assisting with carrying our luggage from the taxi drop-off point, which is a few hundred meters away, making check-in a breeze. The owner was incredibly hospitable, providing helpful tips about local attractions and navigating the area, which enhanced our experience. The warm service and prime location make this hotel a gem. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lijiang!
