Charles_HendoThis resort was AMAZING! 5/5! What a true gem. The hotel staff are incredible and upgraded my room to a Nile view. The management really know how to treat you and make you feel special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool was the perfect place to unwind after a long hot day in the Egyptian sun. Not to mention the amazing sunsets! Highly recommend this hotel

Eddie_OThe Temple Hotel & Spa in Luxor is truly a hidden gem and one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. From the beautiful design of the hotel to the exceptional level of service, everything about this place reflects quality and comfort. The moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed by the elegant atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was incredibly respectful, attentive, and eager to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel at home from day one.
One of the best things about The Temple Hotel & Spa is its location. It is close to many of Luxor’s famous attractions while still offering a quiet and peaceful environment away from the busy crowds. This made my trip both exciting and relaxing at the same time.

Guest UserThis hotel is absolutely stunning; the photos don't do it justice. The lawn is dotted with meticulously trimmed African-style trees, and at night, you can stargaze. The temperature is pleasant, and there are hardly any mosquitoes; each room even has a mosquito repellent lamp outside. There's a wonderful sense of tranquil spaciousness. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering great value for money. Right next to the Nile River, you can see the Valley of the Kings on the opposite bank, and the infinity pool by the Nile is absolutely breathtaking! We didn't book all-inclusive, so breakfast wasn't included, and dining out was a bit inconvenient. Getting a taxi in Luxor is a real hassle, so we often went hungry in the mornings. I'd recommend buying some food the day before or booking breakfast. However, on one occasion, we were stopped and checked for outside food when entering the hotel, which I didn't quite understand or appreciate. Most of the staff were friendly, and they didn't fuss about our late check-out on the last day. We only had one slightly negative experience: we tried to book the hotel's felucca, and the staff told us to come back at 6:10 PM to see if it could sail, or switch to an electric boat if not. When we went to the front desk after 6 PM, there was a different person who told us we had missed the window, as felucca bookings were from 6 PM to 7 PM, and if we missed it, we'd have to book for the next day. I found this confusing and felt like they were passing the buck and unwilling to help.

I must say that the hotel is really clean and warm, and you can sit down and make breakfast for us even if you haven't had breakfast yet. Although the location is a bit remote, the whole courtyard is really warm and clean, and the staff are very polite and professional. There are boys sweeping the floor every day, and they will stop when they see guests passing by, and continue after they pass by. It is really a thoughtful hotel.

Skee82Great Location on the more quiet side of Luxor, The West Bank with a 2 min walk to the ferry crossing point.
Only real issue was the dogs that reside outside had a barking match at 4am on night.
Stayed for 2 nights, as it was Low season (start of summer) There was only one other guest in the hotel so I had the place to myself inc the swimming pool which was clean and refreshing to use after a day trekking around the local sights.
The breakfast wasn’t great but understandable as they couldn’t do their full spread as there wasn’t enough guests to accommodate but it was adequate enough with Egg’s, bread, fruit with coffee and tea, I didnt get to check the rooftop restaurant as i didn’t want them to open due to its quietness,
They did accommodate me with a beer on arrival and later by the pool. No Wifi in room but great by the pool area.
Also the place a pretty dusty but everywhere in Egypt virtually was so this was not a problem, although the room was very clean with great air conditioning and view of the Nile.
Would certainly stay again on my next visit, the locals were fantastic.
There is currently construction in front of the hotel of a welcoming plaza for the ferry port which didn’t effect my stay/sleep but will be a wonderful addition once completed.would 100% recommend.

The location is fantastic, directly facing the Nile. You get a direct view of the feluccas on the river and the hot air balloons on the opposite bank. Local drivers and carriage drivers all know this spot, and it's not far from the pier or Luxor Temple. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are also dated, but everything is functional and doesn't detract from the experience – it actually suits the ancient charm of the area. The hotel service is decent, though check-in can be slow, often taking over half an hour. The room size is comparable to a budget hotel in China, not a high-end hotel, which might impact your experience. However, the balcony is beautiful. It's lovely to sit there, enjoy the stunning view opposite, and have a drink. Breakfast is just average, nothing special.

Pete04I enjoyed my stay very much and wouldn’t think twice about going back. The location is excellent, and Luxor Temple is just a 5-minute walk along the side of the Avenue of the Sphinxes. There are many shops and cafes close by, though the central location can be noisy at times.
The hotel and the spacious rooms are dated and could use an update, but everything is comfortable. The rooms include a fridge, a kettle, and free tea and coffee. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay very good value for money.
Breakfast offered a great variety, including made-to-order omelettes, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, and yoghurt. The rooftop is a highlight, featuring a small swimming pool with loungers to relax on after sightseeing. There is also a bar serving alcohol and a good range of food. Best of all, the rooftop offers fantastic views of Luxor Temple with the Avenue of the Sphinxes leading up to Karnak Temple in the distance.

Guest UserThe Hilton Luxor Resort and SPAwas one of the best hotels we have stayed .The satff is extremely attentive but not intrusive, the accomodations very much correct, the service without faults.
We strongly recommend the restaurants and, and the pool which has an amazing view of the Nile and of the .mountains of the Valley of Kings.
But particularly, do not skip the boat sailing trIp in the Nile at the sunset - a never forgetting experience that puts you in a book.of Agatha Christie or make you imagine how Somerset Maugham would had written about the Nile and it's people.
A last but not least word of recognition of the sympathy and professionalism of the Operations Manager, Mme. H. Elshaikh and the G.M., Mr. F. Gruhl.

This hotel is very good, the room we stayed in was very big, we also invited us to drink juice, the next day we saw that our children could not drink tea and coffee, and sent him banana milk. The boss would also help to call the boat to the opposite Luxor Temple, very nice!

The hotel was rated 9.1 on *********** and marked as a five-star property. At the time, two nights were over 800 on Booking, but just over 700 on Ctrip, so I booked through Ctrip. Now, it's apparently only 170 per night!
Ctrip's three-star rating is more accurate; this is essentially a farmhouse in a village. It has a rooftop pool and is surrounded by palm trees, cows, sheep, and donkeys. Getting there is inconvenient. It took me an hour to find it from Luxor's East Bank, and the navigation route was even blocked by an excavator. I left the East Bank at 1:30 PM, found the place at 2:30 PM, and then couldn't find anyone at the front desk. I had to call for someone to come and check me in. The taxi the owner arranged for us cost $30. We got in at 3:30 PM and didn't arrive at Karnak Temple until 4:00 PM, which delayed my plans by over two hours. I only had an hour to visit the temple. I wanted to check out and get a refund that night, as I didn't want to stay there a second night, but the owner absolutely refused.
Taxi fares start at 100 EGP. Going to the East Bank starts at 200 EGP, and coming back at night costs 250-350 EGP. It would have been more comfortable to just find a small guesthouse on the East Bank. Both going out and coming back, drivers had a hard time finding the hotel's location.
The pros are the generous complimentary breakfast and the hot air balloon views. However, lunch and dinner are not cheap.
