"Beautiful stay in the midst of nature. Spacious room and bathroom with lake view. There’s spa and heated pool in the premises. The road to the hotel as well as the surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast spread was good. It’s just 10mins away from Hengifoss waterfall by car."

"Beachfront resort but I only got a skylight. Even the bathroom had a better view. The room had 2 beds but linens were removed for one since I was a solo traveler and only 1 towel was provided. No shoes policy helped keep the house clean. That is very good. I didn’t use the kitchen much except to make tea but seems like it is in good condition. Dishwashing liquid however was in a glass jar instead of pump. It’s strange cos you end up using too much for a small spoon and the jar is very slippery. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hot food along with homemade breads. It was the best breakfast I had in my 2 weeks in Iceland. Location is an hour drive from Egilsstaðir via some mountain pass, gravel roads and along the coast road. The views are breathtaking. But it’s a small town and if you don’t intend to hike around the area then it might not be worth spending so much time getting to and fro your accommodation."

"It is still relatively spacious, with a separate bathroom, and the unexpected harvest is that this hotel is very close to the puffin nest. When we arrived, it was almost 10 o'clock in the evening. The front desk little goth waited for us to tell us where to see puffin. It is especially emphasized that you can see thousands of puffin at this time at night. We didn't hesitate to go, sure enough, a lot, but fun"

"A good hotel in price-quality ratio , clean, beautiful. But, we had a later settlement, the administrator was not and we settled on our own and there was a mistake, we left a room with one double bed, although we booked a room on three with a double bed and a sofa for the child. The question could not be solved at night , the administrator was not there, the phones were not answered , the support could not solve at once anything. It was necessary to sleep three on one bed , which was extremely uncomfortable. But then trip.com provided a small compensation for inconvenience"

"This is a port in the eastern part of Iceland where you can wash your clothes! From the capital of western Iceland, it is just the middle point of travel. The clothes accumulated in a few days can be washed and dried before going to bed at night. Pay 1600 Icelandic coins (krona), use it casually. The one in front of me needs 4,000 Icelandic coins to wash once."

"My friend and I made a mistake booking our trip, but we're very lucky to have found this location as a stop between our destination. It was fantastic. The food was amazing. "The breakfast at this hotel is not very rich. I imagined it a bit different, but if I’m hungry, it’s okay. The taste is generally not too rich. The lamb for dinner is very good but a bit expensive. This hotel is not expensive, I think it's good"

"The reception staff were very enthusiastic and waited for us to check in. The room facing the cruise terminal was very beautiful. There was also a beautiful waterfall nearby. The indoor environment was clean. We will stay here again next time."

"Very cosy guesthouse with nice room and very equipped with bathrooms and kitchen. Although the 36km gravel road sliding off the main road was very long, the view over the fjord was magnificent. Worth the ride to enjoy the nature and waterfalls with no people to block your view."

Wasn't expecting much but ended up so pleasantly surprised! My elderly parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! One of the best places we stayed in Iceland this trip. The Guesthouse manager (matnus? Sorry I'm not sure how his name is spelt!) was kind enough to help us arrange a last minute change of room as we changed our minds and wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and everything was lovely. Squeaky clean, even for a clean freak like me. The place was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed there is a thick layer of cushion over the sofa bed so this was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on. My parents also said the double bed was very very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this Guesthouse!

Good location with a lots of shops near by. Parking is free for guest. Rooms is tiny but clean, shower rooms and toilets are tidy as well. Kitchen is bit small without oven, u can cook some simple food there.

Location: Good, located next to the lake, with restaurants and attractions nearby Facilities: We stayed in a two-person room on the third floor. The room was a bit small, and a suitcase larger than a boarding suitcase might get stuck; the extension cord had poor contact, the hot water pressure was sufficient, and it came with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and Conditioner; there is chess to play in the public area. But why does the 4-person room on the first floor have a hot water kettle (as seen through the window when walking by the lake), but not upstairs? ! Service: The first floor is under renovation, self-service is provided, keys are provided in envelopes for self-pickup, no breakfast is provided, only paper is enclosed in the envelope. Recommended restaurants Others: Located next to the road, with no airtight windows and poor sound insulation

Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Better reserve for dinner as it gets busy. O sure washing machine is handy, although may need to wait a bit as there is only one machine. Staff are generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

The room was a bit small for my family of three. But the bathroom is very spacious. Room is also clean. Room does not have a kettle but there is a common pantry which was useful. The main issue was check in because the check in was not actually at hotel post itself but at the other hotel next door and instructions were not clearly given. We panicked a bit initially because we reached quite late and could not find a way to get into hotel post. Luckily we managed to call the hotel and was told that check in is in the other building.

This hotel is great in every aspect. The location is right in the city center, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and even a gas station. However, the water in the bathroom seemed to have an odor, which should be improved. Also, the breakfast, which is an additional charge, was quite expensive.

This hotel is very suitable for vacation and leisure. It is located in a forest. The front desk drove a golf cart to deliver our luggage to the door of the room. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Egilsstadt. The breakfast is average with few options. The dinner is okay, but the steak is too old. The chef came out to greet us personally and replaced it with cod according to our request.

The roundabout route passes through Egilsstadir, the hotel is three kilometers from the town and it is very convenient to drive by car. This is a homestay, the whole house has 6 rooms and contains a separate bathroom, kitchen and dining room. Check-in is self-service, the key box password at the door will be sent to you in advance and the room number will be specified. The hotel is clean and tidy, the house is of the right size, the two people are not crowded, the tableware is complete, and the restaurant is also very large. On the road around the island, it is recommended to stay.
