Hotel is located in an excellent location, close to the tourist information center, the Mount Askla and the ferry terminals.
The airport bus from the airport stop directly in front of the hotel, so will be very convenient for travelers arriving /departing by air.
There are also many restaurants and a small shopping mall nearby.
Was assigned a room facing west, so could have a great view of the sunset from the room.

Very good hotel, spacious rooms, beautiful views, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Really regrettable stayed at Christian Song for one night, I hope I have the opportunity to experience this beautiful place

The hotel is old, as are the facilities. The furniture is worn, and there are few electrical outlets in the rooms. It was summer in Norway, so there was no air conditioning in the room, but the seagulls were quite noisy when the windows were open, as it's close to the sea. The view was nice, with the pier in front and cruise ships visible, and it's close to the old town. The hotel has its own paid parking for 175 NOK per night.

Hotel is near to the bus station / town centre. However, there is a little of an uphill slope for those who have heavy luggages / travelling with elderlies.
Went in summer and room feels warm/stuffy even though it was cold outside. Toilet is a little cramped but other than that it is clean.
Breakfast was great and the reception is friendly to any questions.
Hotel is near the Rampestreken start point for those looking to hike.

The breakfast was very good, the suite had a nice view, the harbor and the lighthouse were just outside the window. You could also see people diving after the sauna, which was very interesting.

The hotel's parking lot is large and self-driving is very convenient. The cost of parking for 11 hours is NOK230. The interior of the room is clean and tidy, and there are many people checking in and the check-in is very efficient. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Alesund.

JJGuzonWe were given a handicap room without asking for it, and when I asked for the swap, I was only told that there are no other rooms available. For one night, it was OK, but never received any offer for the 2 next nights. I sent an e mail to the support, but no answer was received.
The breakfast was not the same as before and the quality was much better before 2023.

MMikhailThe room was absolutely tiny, there is no privacy in the bathroom as it's basically a box next to your bed. Had to carry our luggage up the stairs to get to the room. Adjacent restaurant took 10 minutes to acknowledge us and say they're fully booked. Historic building & good location but that's about it. Would not recommend.

KKesinee KThis place is very convenient, good location, lovely area. Small but clean. Breakfast was fantastic! We are Thai and we met a Thai receptionist and she was very helpful. Try ask for quiet room because we booked 3 rooms but 2 rooms said it a bit noisy at night (we were there on a weekend). Definitely recommend.

But the people are very good and will help passengers find transportation information for the return journey.
And carefully introduce the room facilities
There is a fridge and toaster and coffee available
If you don't drive by yourself.
The landlord can take us up to the hotel from the fjord ferry port, about 10 minutes drive, and we will charge a little, but it is acceptable.
The window of the room can see the beautiful view of the fjord. Not bad.

Wwillie253The rest point chosen on the way to the self-driving tour, when booking, I saw that the hotel environment was quite good, so I chose this place without hesitation. The hotel is next to the fjord, just one floor, two rows of rooms, when following the navigation, I thought I was in the wrong place before I saw the signboard. One door of the room is connected to the interior, and the other door is connected to the outside but safe and reliable. The breakfast variety is quite rich compared to the local area, free parking at the door, charging space but more popular.
