Booked a suite at the Hilton Jiaxing via Trip.com, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the expansive space. The living room and bedroom were distinctly zoned, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a picturesque panorama of the city skyline blending with the serene lake. With the lights on at night, the ambiance was absolutely captivating. Every detail in the suite showed thoughtful consideration: the bedding was cloud-soft, allowing me to drift off to sleep instantly. The bathroom featured a modern wet/dry separation and an oversized bathtub, perfect for soaking away a day's fatigue. The mini-bar was well-stocked with a great selection of drinks, instantly making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The service was simply impeccable. Duty Manager Cathy provided a flawless response to all requests. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and room service was incredibly prompt – when I requested an extra pillow in the evening, it was delivered within minutes. The breakfast the next day offered a huge variety, with both Chinese and Western options – definitely a must-try! Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this place offers a perfect experience. It has already been added to my go-to list for stays in Jiaxing!

We booked a family room, which was clean and tidy. The butler contacted us the night before, and accompanied us to the hotel upon arrival at the scenic area, explaining in detail how to explore Wuzhen. This gave us a preliminary understanding of Wuzhen Xizha. They also provided a send-off service when we checked out. The butler was available 24/7 on WeChat, answering all our questions with incredible patience. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Dang, who made us feel right at home. She was warm but not overbearing, gentle but articulate. Although our time exploring Wuzhen Xizha was short, it left us with beautiful memories. ”In spring, the river water turns green like indigo, how can one not recall Jiangnan?” The hotel breakfast was also delicious, but the restaurant staff didn't seem very enthusiastic. Perhaps they hadn't fully woken up yet, but the food itself was still very good.

It was super easy to get back after an evening of shopping. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was great, and the separate wet/dry bathroom design was a thoughtful touch. The soundproofing was also excellent, so I got an undisturbed night's sleep. The front desk staff, particularly Ella, Eileen, and Alice, were so warm and welcoming. They proactively recommended local hidden gems and gave tips to avoid tourist traps, and even helped with luggage storage. Their attention to detail was top-notch. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted authentic. The value for money is absolutely amazing – I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The location is superb, the environment is first-class, and the views are excellent. I stayed on the 12th floor with a lake view, overlooking Taihu Lake, which offered a fantastic perspective (though sometimes the wind was a bit strong, so I couldn't stay on the balcony for too long). The hotel's decor is magnificent, and facilities like the swimming pool and gym are good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied; it rotated during my two-day stay. The room itself was generally acceptable, but the carpet was a bit old, and there was a noticeable damaged spot that hadn't been repaired. Service was hard to describe. After check-in, a butler added me on WeChat and I told them I wanted to check in around 1 PM, and the butler said they would relay the request. However, at the front desk, I was told the room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM (though in reality, it was available a bit earlier). A fruit plate was delivered after check-in. My Trip.com order included a daily dining package. The front desk staff seemed to misinterpret it, telling us it was one package per order (we stayed for three days and two nights). I must praise Trip.com; after communicating with them, the hotel reluctantly agreed it was one package per day (meaning two packages for a three-day, two-night stay) and told me I could just go directly to the restaurant as it was included in the order. But did you think that was the end of it? When I went to Shuyu Chuan for dinner, the owner asked for meal vouchers, so it took a long phone call to sort it out. The next day, before going to Mian Baifu, I first went to the front desk to get vouchers and mentioned the issue at Shuyu Chuan. The front desk still didn't give me vouchers, saying I could just go directly. And sure enough, the same thing happened; the owner also asked for vouchers, leading to another ten-minute phone call. I've never seen such service at a five-star hotel. If they were so unwilling, why didn't they just cancel that bundled order? Furthermore, regarding the package issue, it was me who called Trip.com to coordinate and resolve it, yet the butler on WeChat still acted as if she had helped me obtain some special privilege. The order also included a daily entry to the 25th-floor Xuan Bar (starting at 7:30 PM, including two soft drinks and snacks). I must commend the staff there; the Xuan Bar also had a pool table, and we had a great time.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that all guests from all regions and countries are welcome. However, upon arrival, the hotel failed to inform me of a discriminatory local policy that caused significant problems during my stay. Late at night, the police came into my room unannounced, creating a highly stressful and uncomfortable situation for both me and my partner. This was not only an invasion of privacy but also caused emotional distress. At no point during booking or check-in did the hotel provide any disclaimer or warning about such policies that could affect guests. For a global brand like Marriott, I expected professionalism, transparency, and care for guests’ safety and dignity. Instead, I felt misled and unsupported. If the hotel is aware of restrictions that may impact certain guests, they should be upfront about it before booking, not leave travelers to face such distressing surprises. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend this property to others. Clear communication and respect for guests are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel failed on both.

My friend and I visited Ningbo to watch a movie, and it was my first time staying at a Shangri-La property. We booked a room with Horizon Club access (executive lounge), and I have a few honest remarks for everyone's reference: 1. Service: Before check-in, no concierge contacted me regarding my needs, which was quite surprising. Other hotels in Ningbo of a similar price range that I've stayed at, like the Sheraton and Hilton, always contact guests in advance. Even after checking in, there was no WeChat contact from a concierge. To request room service, I had to either scan a QR code on the table or make a phone call. 2. Check-in: Since no one contacted me beforehand, I had noted my check-in preferences in advance, hoping for a room upgrade if available. In the past, on Ctrip, there were two scenarios: either the hotel would reply saying an upgrade depends on same-day availability, or they would confirm the upgrade. This time, I received a confirmation that the upgrade was arranged. However, upon check-in, it wasn't mentioned, and the room assigned had a musty smell with a locked window that couldn't be opened for ventilation. My happy expectations quickly soured. I think it's better to just say upgrades depend on availability rather than making a promise and not delivering; it's truly astounding. 3. Package: The package included K11 consumption vouchers, but again, no one informed me how to use them. I eventually had to go down to the front desk to ask. Moreover, they couldn't be collected at the hotel; I had to go to the mall. Once there, I was told that tickets for tomorrow's movie could only be booked on the same day, making my trip a complete waste of time. It was truly awful. 4. Horizon Club: The Horizon Club was the only highlight of this stay. The ladies at the lounge were all smiling and attentive, and the view was excellent. Happy hour was incredibly rich and filling, the best I've experienced in so many luxury hotels over the past two years. Breakfast was also very good, with all the expected food categories available. To sum it up: If you're coming for the food and scenery, go for it. Otherwise, I'd say skip it. And it's best to book a room with Horizon Club access, or you might experience poor service like I did this time. What's even more ridiculous is that while I enjoyed good service at the Horizon Club, my friend, who isn't a Shangri-La member, was pressured into applying for a membership card. It's truly a bittersweet moment. Given this attitude, they might as well set up a proper concierge service.

Marriott never ceases to impress—it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The cleanliness was unmatched; every corner of the room and facility was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and professional, making every interaction feel warm and seamless. But what made this stay extra special was that I proposed during this visit—and everything about the experience contributed to making it perfect. The smooth service, calm ambiance, and attention to detail made it a truly unforgettable moment for us. Highly recommend the Marriott for anyone looking for both luxury and heartwarming hospitality. Facilities: Comprehensive Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Excellent Service: Superb Quzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

First, regarding the dining experience: Due to the holiday, breakfast preparations were inadequate, especially at the noodle station where the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly, and restocking was slow. In the lounge, restocking was also very slow, and the basic food offerings were virtually identical for two days. Popular dishes disappeared quickly after one round, and there was no champagne or sparkling water. Coffee was self-service, with no staff bringing it to the tables. We also tried Shang Palace (at an extra cost), but the waitstaff seemed inexperienced, lacking adaptability, and service was slow. Second, concerning the guest rooms: Overall, they were acceptable, but when I called at 6 PM on arrival, I was told there were no latex pillows left, indicating poor preparation. I also requested a charging cable, which was never delivered, so we ended up ordering one from outside. Third, regarding the gym and swimming pool: Some staff were excellent, while others were uncooperative, showing inconsistent service quality among the team. I visited the gym several times but never saw anyone cleaning the equipment. Has cost-cutting gone too far? The entire wellness center didn't even offer bottled water, small cookies, or alcohol wipes. On Mid-Autumn Festival day, I saw apples at the front desk, but they were gone the next day. While we may not always need these items, they are essential for quickly replenishing energy if experiencing low blood sugar during exercise or swimming, which is a basic expectation for a five-star hotel. Other Shangri-La hotels I've visited, like in Hangzhou and Shanghai, provided these. Finally, perhaps also due to the holiday, there was no concierge service to assist with luggage to the room when we arrived on the 5th, nor any guidance from the front desk. We only discovered this service existed when we checked out on the 7th. Understaffing is not the guest's problem; guests are willing to pay higher-than-usual prices for a holiday stay, and the hotel should not use staff shortages as an excuse.

After seeing so many negative reviews on Ctrip, I actually feel a bit lucky. I've stayed here twice and haven't encountered any issues, which is quite fortunate! This time I booked a deluxe room, and the front desk assigned me a room in Building 1, which was pretty good. It's probably better than Building 6. The entire building has been completely renovated; aside from the slightly old-fashioned decor, there are no signs of aging. Last time, I stayed in a Luxury Collection lake-view room, and while I didn't expect the same this time, at least the cleanliness was guaranteed. The view outside wasn't a garden view, but it wasn't just rooftops either. Then, regarding the service, perhaps due to the many negative reviews, the service I experienced this time was actually quite good, definitely better than last time. Last time, it felt like a cold, state-owned enterprise vibe – take it or leave it. This time, however, everyone from the main front desk to the morning and evening receptionists in Building 1 was very polite and friendly. They were also very proactive in helping with car requests. I'd like to come back to Xizi Hotel again in the future and hope to continue getting a good room. Also, some reviews mentioned the breakfast being bad, which is a bit of a joke. The breakfast doesn't have a huge variety, but not only is it not bad, every dish is of high quality. It's much better than hotels that offer many options but are all pre-made dishes.
