Booked a suite at the Hilton Jiaxing via Trip.com, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the expansive space. The living room and bedroom were distinctly zoned, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a picturesque panorama of the city skyline blending with the serene lake. With the lights on at night, the ambiance was absolutely captivating. Every detail in the suite showed thoughtful consideration: the bedding was cloud-soft, allowing me to drift off to sleep instantly. The bathroom featured a modern wet/dry separation and an oversized bathtub, perfect for soaking away a day's fatigue. The mini-bar was well-stocked with a great selection of drinks, instantly making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The service was simply impeccable. Duty Manager Cathy provided a flawless response to all requests. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and room service was incredibly prompt – when I requested an extra pillow in the evening, it was delivered within minutes. The breakfast the next day offered a huge variety, with both Chinese and Western options – definitely a must-try! Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this place offers a perfect experience. It has already been added to my go-to list for stays in Jiaxing!

We chose this room type mainly because it allowed two friends to stay without disturbing each other, with one bed on each floor. I was pleasantly surprised to find a waterside patio downstairs, which I really liked. However, the chairs weren't great; it would be perfect if they could be replaced with outdoor sofas. Also, the large sofa downstairs wasn't very comfortable to sit on. The power outlet by the bed downstairs was a bit loose, so the charger wouldn't stay in. Everything else was perfect, and we were very satisfied with our stay. Our butler, Xiao Dang, was very responsible. He picked us up from the parking lot and took us to the hotel. After check-in, he showed us to our room and sent us a lot of information about local attractions. He answered all our questions, which made our trip very enjoyable. Thanks!

Staying at the Shangri-La for work with my parents and child was, as always, an excellent experience. They were very communicative and willing to help and accommodate us. A big thank you to Grace and Dennis! I'll definitely keep choosing Yiwu Shangri-La. Plus, the breakfast was fantastic! It beautifully blended Dongyang and Yiwu local specialties with a very international selection. Loved it! 💕

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

Stayed for 6 nights from 19 October 2025. The Good: - spacious room - good hot shower (very important to me) - walking distance to District 2 and Glory Mall. Lots of food choices. The Bad - The bathroom has a clear glass panel which looks into the bedroom. I had enquired at the Front Desk and via ”At Your Service” phone button at least 3 times whether they could do something for privacy as I was sharing room with my son. The staff told me that they could sent someone to install curtains. Subsequently, a man turned up and passed me a folded bedsheet. He said it was for me to cover the glass panel. I asked how I was to do it without any tools - ladder, hooks etc !!! He replied past guests had given same feedback but Management did nothing. He said that his colleague had tried taping up the bedsheet but it soon dropped due to weight! I called the ”At Your Service” again, this time a guy said he would get back if there's a room with full privacy. Instead, the same man returned with the bedsheet again! Please understand that for twin sharing, having privacy is very important. - not enough hooks in the bathroom to hang up towel to dry and clothes for changing. Had to drape over the bathtub. - I had booked a room with 2 single bed but was checked into a room with King bed. I called the Front Desk and a lady told me that I booked for a King bed. I said that I had printout to prove that I booked 2 single. Eventually, she returned call and informed that they would change our room in the morning, which was duly done.

Fantastic, excellent service and food. **Positive Review (Focus on Experience & Features)** This trip to Shangri-La was truly perfect, genuinely embodying the essence of a 'hidden paradise'. The hotel masterfully blends ******* charm with modern luxury. The lotus pond and 'Nine Heavens' display immediately visible upon entry create a highly ceremonial atmosphere. The staff were consistently warm and attentive, proactively recommending local tours. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, balancing international flavors with ******* specialties. The heated pool and sauna in the wellness center erased all travel fatigue. Special activities like praying at Baiji Temple and ******* cuisine tasting added unforgettable memories. It's truly a quality choice that has won numerous luxury hotel awards. **Business Travel Review (Focus on Practicality & Efficiency)** As a top choice for business travel, Shangri-La Hotel's professionalism far exceeded expectations. The hotel is located in the core downtown area, offering convenient transportation yet a quiet environment. The conference rooms are fully equipped, and the network is stable, allowing for efficient video conferences and business discussions. The guest rooms are spacious and clean, with a well-arranged work area, full-signal free WiFi, complemented by business amenities like a safe and laundry service, making work worry-free. For dining, in addition to a balanced buffet breakfast, one can experience the authentic flavors of Auntie's Home Kitchen, and room service is fast and punctual. The most pleasant surprise was the quick check-in and check-out process, saving a significant amount of commute time. The staff's professionalism is extremely high, able to respond to all kinds of business needs promptly. It's a benchmark for business travel that balances efficiency and comfort.

Our stay was fantastic! Special thanks to Ms. Zhan at the front desk for her thoughtful service and help during check-in. She upgraded our room when possible and gave us recommendations for evening activities. What really stood out was when she offered us two warm, yes, warm walnut cookies – they were so comforting and delicious, like coming home, especially since we were a bit hungry! We extended our stay for another night, and Ms. Jia at the front desk was equally warm and attentive. The entire hotel, from its facilities to its soft services, feels grand and well-designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices. I also appreciate their strong commitment to environmental protection, with trash cans that have ditched plastic bags – excellent!

First, regarding the dining experience: Due to the holiday, breakfast preparations were inadequate, especially at the noodle station where the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly, and restocking was slow. In the lounge, restocking was also very slow, and the basic food offerings were virtually identical for two days. Popular dishes disappeared quickly after one round, and there was no champagne or sparkling water. Coffee was self-service, with no staff bringing it to the tables. We also tried Shang Palace (at an extra cost), but the waitstaff seemed inexperienced, lacking adaptability, and service was slow. Second, concerning the guest rooms: Overall, they were acceptable, but when I called at 6 PM on arrival, I was told there were no latex pillows left, indicating poor preparation. I also requested a charging cable, which was never delivered, so we ended up ordering one from outside. Third, regarding the gym and swimming pool: Some staff were excellent, while others were uncooperative, showing inconsistent service quality among the team. I visited the gym several times but never saw anyone cleaning the equipment. Has cost-cutting gone too far? The entire wellness center didn't even offer bottled water, small cookies, or alcohol wipes. On Mid-Autumn Festival day, I saw apples at the front desk, but they were gone the next day. While we may not always need these items, they are essential for quickly replenishing energy if experiencing low blood sugar during exercise or swimming, which is a basic expectation for a five-star hotel. Other Shangri-La hotels I've visited, like in Hangzhou and Shanghai, provided these. Finally, perhaps also due to the holiday, there was no concierge service to assist with luggage to the room when we arrived on the 5th, nor any guidance from the front desk. We only discovered this service existed when we checked out on the 7th. Understaffing is not the guest's problem; guests are willing to pay higher-than-usual prices for a holiday stay, and the hotel should not use staff shortages as an excuse.

I saw a great deal for a package on Double 11 and quickly booked it to spend New Year's Day at Wang Zhuang. The renovated Building 6 has excellent hardware – the heating is ample, facilities are comprehensive, and it's spotlessly clean. It's also not far from the Peony Hall, Yaoyuan, and the front desk, offering a great environment and convenience. New Year's Day was peak check-in time, and we didn't get our room until 3 PM. The lobby was packed, but the staff handling luggage storage and check-in were incredibly friendly. I asked about the progress several times, and each time they patiently helped me check, and the room we eventually got was very satisfying. The lady at the lobby's rest area kept refilling our tea and bringing snacks. The bellhops and shuttle drivers were very enthusiastic, opening car doors and helping with luggage. We are all very grateful for their service. During our stay, we wanted to visit Orioles Singing in the Willows but were deterred by the crowds, so we just walked around the hotel instead. The hotel's lakeside offers expansive views, directly facing Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon and Mid-Lake Pavilion. To the left is Su Causeway, and to the right, you can see Chenghuang Pavilion. It's quiet with few people. Compared to squeezing through crowds to see the sights outside, here you essentially have a private stretch of West Lake. Taking a stroll after dinner or an early morning walk are both excellent choices, with fresh air and birdsong and fragrant flowers. The package also included a buffet, which I didn't have high hopes for, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious! There were hairy crabs, shrimp, and seafood, all very fresh. Breakfast was also great; I particularly loved the fluffy fried dough sticks, which were super tasty, along with smoked salmon and freshly squeezed juice – quite a high-end offering. The only minor drawback was the noodle station, which was mediocre, and besides the tiramisu, I didn't find any desserts I particularly liked. The puff pastry was soggy, like it had been exposed to moisture, so I didn't eat much of it later. Peony Hall is my favorite; I personally think it's better than Ziwei Hall 😋. None of the dishes I ordered disappointed; the chicken soup and other dishes were all authentic, and I loved the Osmanthus Nine-Bend Red Plum tea, which I've been buying every year since my last stay. Many leaves have fallen in winter, but I'll definitely come back in autumn to see West Lake in its most beautiful season 🥰

GGuest UserGreat hotel stay with my kids. A lot of variety for breakfast. My stay was made exceptional thanks to the wonderful service from Li Bin: Nova, Xiao Qi. He was professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Their genuine care and consistent attentiveness created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I truly appreciate their efforts and would highly recommend this hotel because of staff like them. Thank you for making my experience memorable!

GGuest UserI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants. Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services: 1. Cady of the reception Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure. 2. Cora (陈丽) Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior. 3. Cavan Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP. The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

LLudanxiaTraveling with our kids this time, the hotel's butler service was truly the most touching part! As soon as we got out of the car, the butler proactively came to help with our luggage and arranged the most convenient transportation and sightseeing routes for us, which saved us so much hassle. This kind of family-like care made us feel completely at ease throughout our stay. Seeing the children have so much fun, we knew we had picked the right place! ❤️

WWulongaihechaMy family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window. 💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience. 🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it. 📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

KkakuseiYou can tell the facilities are a bit old, and because the hotel has some years on it, the soundproofing is pretty mediocre. You can hear everything happening in the hallway, and the opening and closing of doors in the next room is especially noticeable. The breakfast selection and taste are quite ordinary for a five-star hotel; nothing particularly memorable. The location is great for exploring the small commodities market, within walking distance. There are also plenty of dining options within a couple of blocks. It's more suitable for business travel than for a leisure trip to this city. Oh, and booking through Ctrip doesn't allow you to earn points in the Marriott Bonvoy program, which is a huge drawback compared to other platforms that automatically link to your Marriott membership for points.
