Hotels With Swimming Pools in Syddanmark, Denmark

My husband and I booked a room for us and another room for my niece and her family. We got the garden rooms and the place was absolutely family friendly. My grandnieces and grandnephew enjoyed the playground as well as the kids pool. We reserved our first night dinner at the Leaf restaurant and let me tell you “THE FOOD WAS SUMPTUOUS.” Breakfast was included, the food choices were plentiful, coffee, juices, fruits, cereal, cheese, bacon, ham, eggs, pastries, cakes, bread, even have swirl ice cream for kids. My niece who lives in Copenhagan will probably go back to this place as they usually bring the kids to Legoland for summer vacation. My husband and I will definitely go back, whenever we visit Europe again, God willing.

We stayed one night to catch an early flight and have stayed at the hotel previously. The hotel is located within a few hundred meters from the airport, and the departure hall is just an easy walk away. A free shuttle bus is also available, making it easy to travel with your baggage to and from the airport. The airport also offers good, but not inexpensive long term parking if you arrive by car. The hotel’s large reception is nice with friendly staff and a comfy sitting area. It is possible to buy coffee, a drink and a limited selection of snacks. Our room was quiet and clean, and we found the hotel okay for a single night. We had to leave very early and did not have any breakfast, but it is actually possible to have breakfast from 3 o’clock in the morning, which is a nice option. Location is excellent for an early flight, but other options may be worth a closer look too, especially if you are planning a longer stay in the area.

Never been in Vejle before and this hotel was booked by a friend. I understand that the rooms are rather small, but the captain room, with twin beds, was fine. Breakfast was good. Vejle is small, so you can walk everywhere from here. The bus/train station is behind the hotel and for €10 you have a bus that goes very regularly to Billund Airport. You can pay with cash on the bus, € and DKK. I paid everywhere with CC, and the bush with cash €, so did not have to buy DKK at all.

An interesting family hotel full of Lego elements, with quick and easy access to Legoland. I was a little disappointed that I missed breakfast, but I hope I can experience it again next time.

Place is great and it’s a ten minute walk from Legoland, I am disappointed however as the booking confirmation made no mention of a credit card surcharge so I could have come prepared with cash.

This is the perfect location to walk everywhere in the city. We were worried since there was no onsite parking, but we were easily able to find a spot on the street near the hotel. You are close walking distance to everything in the city. The breakfast alone is worth the stay! It was delicious and such a great selection!

This was our first long holiday, since last years weekend away. It's central to all the places, we wanted to do in the city. Even though it was busy (3.30pm), the reception staff 100% on the ball. We were assigned room 219. So that everyone knows, all room have names etc from H. C. Andersen or others (I think🤔 ) on the doors. Going in the room was hot, and that's when my husband told me, there is no air conditioning. Now we've been to hotels in Germany, Austria etc, and all have had air con. So I was surprised that most of the hotels in Denmark doesn't 🤯. I told my husband, as the weather forecast stated that there will be a heatwave. We couldn't keep the window open when we were out, or at night. Fyi there was a fan in the room ( that really didn't help). So we went back out to the reception, to ask if we could change rooms. We was given a new key card (317), to look at a room on the 3rd floor. This was better, so we moved all our gear, and returned room (219) card. (Another fyi) when you leave the room, you take the key card out of the slot near the door, that cuts most of the power off. So we couldn't keep the fan on, but the window was open. 219 room's bathroom, was all new with auto sensors on the sink tap, but in room 317, it's was normal taps. And the bathroom was a bit dated. As I'm 5ft 4ins, it was really, and I mean rally hard to reach the taps at the far end of the bath tab. As the shower screen was not movable. I have to get my husband 6ft 3ins, to reach in (umm after the rain shower wet him. The switch over from shower to bath was kinda broken), to turn on the tap for the bath. I was surprised once again, that there were on mini fridge (luckily we brought our cooler box with us), or any toiletries, apart from the hand soap. If you mean any you either have to buy at the reception (did smell nice), or to the nearby shops to buy some. I do like a try/buy pillow catalogue, pity there wasn't one for the mattress. I'm sorry, but like the name of our room Princess and Pea. The mattress were rock hard, and both of us had back pains (that we both had to take pain killers during our stay). Car parking, is not the hotel one, but the city one. It's the cheapest and right next to the hotel, but my husband said it was strange that it wasn't hotel parking. As you have to be lucky to get a parking spot (and pray that there are no double parking, as one person parked over the line, so that no one can park next to them 😡). The rest of the parking lot in the city are costly. Oh and the buy one get a drink free offer, is not good. As the drinks are very expensive, more that a normal bar price...thank to the bar staff who made a not too strong drink, that my husband wanted me to try. Now for the good stuff. Like all the photos of the hotel, that's what you see...and wow! I couldn't stop taking photos lol. We booked for breakfast included, and we're glad we did. There were hot and cold to chose from. The hotel is very well located across from the train station, a quick easy 10 min walk to the town center and many restaurants and walking distance to Koldinghus. They have underground secure parking. We booked 2 rooms with courtyard views (not really much of a view) looking at private apartments in the same complex and roofs. Its not a noisy town so would not pay the higher price for the courtyard views. The rooms are basic. Found the beds too soft. Upon check in a coffee mugs still had coffee remnants from a previous guest. The bathroom is simple and functional. There was an electric fan. No AC or safe.

The location is very good, the train station is, the whole city is more concentrated, the nearby is the city center, eating and shopping are more convenient, the overall hotel is very good, the room daily parallel tea and coffee are very good. The bed is large and comfortable, the front desk restaurant is unique and has a convenient Japanese and bar.

Cabinn is a budget hotel chain with locations across Denmark. Odense has no hostels so I was able to book an Economy Room at Cabinn for a very good price. Location is fantastic, very close to the heart of Odense and minutes away from the train station. Very easy to find. Economy Room is very small. I don’t think that should be surprising but please look at photos to manage expectations. For one person it was fine but I’m also used to hostels and other tight spaces. You can hear people use the shower in rooms around you too but not a lot noise from the neighboring rooms. Wifi was excellent, so strong, water pressure was fantastic too. Little street and train station noise as well. FYI: around check out, the elevators can get very busy and lead to a long wait, so allow extra time. Staff was fine, hair dryer rental is 100 DKK which is returned to you. My only complaint was the bathroom. It’s a combo shower and toilet/sink and the shower curtain can get attached to you and become annoying. The bathroom always gets soaked so be prepared with what you have inside. I would also add a second mirror to the room so one isn’t reliant on the small bathroom. Otherwise I had a good stay and would stay again there and with the chain.

I found out about Lalandia by accident from a random conversation with a stranger back in April. Man alive, am I glad I did! We absolutely loved it. Me, my sister and my 6 year old stayed on site. Everything was so easy. It’s so flat so easy to get around, loads of play grounds and huge patches of grass to play on. The Aquadome is amazing. I think better than Centre Parcs. We particularly loved the cave pool where you could swim next to the tropical fish tanks! Just wished the water in the lazy river was a little warmer….that’s all. Loved that you can load money onto your wristband! Talk about making life easier. Thought restaurants were great, especially Pepe’s Mexican and bones steakhouse. The all you can eat restaurants are good but defo go hungry to make it cost effective. Was thrilled with takeout pizza and poke bowl quality and pricing. We loved our lodge. Very clean, had everything we needed. Just one bedroom didn’t have blackout blinds which was annoying but I’m just picking now. Legoland is literally across the road! And Lego house is a 30 min walk for a 6 year old through a lovely sculpture park. We were impressed with billund and wish we’d given it more time to look around the town. Staff at Lalandia were so helpful when needed. I would absolutely come back here and do it all again. We LOVED IT.

It’s very convenient to the opposite side of the train station. I thought about other hotels like Lishao but I thought about dragging the boxes and didn’t want to go too far. It proved very wise. The town is also very quiet. There is a very cheap and delicious Thai-style meal at McDonald’s in the train station. Chinese stomach ate two breakfasts in the hotel but the breakfast room was nice and the park room was big.

The breakfast was great and varied. The front desk lady was very friendly. When I asked for the renewal, I originally booked a small room, but still arranged for us to live in the family room. It is close to Andersen Museum, Odense Church, Town Hall Square, supermarket, train station, and is within walking distance. Overall it is a very good experience.

It was a perfect breakfast except for hot drinks , kind of chocolate milk of children , cappuccino etc where you have to pay !! So you pay breakfast but not for everything , It 's really bad ..... The city centre is 25 minutes walk, but it 's fine.

With the music festival, which took place in the glorious city of Odense, we booked this hotel for 2 nights. The administration, for some reason only known to them, received a booking for only one night. As a result, the next day we moved to an even more depressing option, but I have already written about it. In general, as a hotel, well floor trouble. However, thanks to the crew, for only thanks to him my suitcase was on the 2nd floor. The elevator, of course, no staff, but the staircase is very cool. I can even close on a not too comfortable bath and the smell of spleen in the room. The room itself is quite big, not bad. Ah, what's outraged is a shower. There were two souls - a sling from which the water pressure went an hour on a tea spoon and a big shower that is not better than a small sling. Yes, with the water temperature you have to play. Oh! About the location - it is in a place that there is nothing nearby. Although not, of course, in a kilometer, Aldi's store and the only, probably, restaurant something like Corup Steakhouse. Here are cooking there perfectly. We took the steak and stayed very happy, but I'll write about it. Perhaps in the region 2 km, it was possible to find something else, but having come from sunny Spain to cold Denmark, as there was no special desire to open new land and horizons. I wanted to eat and lie down the faster, because there was nothing more to do there, in this deaf. But this morning, breakfast was so scarce. You know, everything will be known in comparison. If before I thought that in Spain we had bad breakfasts, as we were not provided to the princesses for the morning vegetables, then when he came here for breakfast, he left to wish the best! :) I haven't seen the staff, the food hasn't been filled, the plates have been left with poor pieces. The hotel is a bit off. Quiet. There is a free large parking lot suitable for self-driving tours. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Can solve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has a small bar. The room is large. The sofa can be turned into a bed. Driving from the hotel to Billund Lego is about thirty minutes, which is convenient. Will consider staying next time.

Questo meraviglioso hotel si trova a pochi kilometri da Billund e alle porte della graziosa cittadina di Vejle. Camera piccina ma graziosa e pulita con vista sulla rilassante campagna danese. Personale gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile. Abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorante e siamo rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti e ben consigliati. Cucina a km 0 e birre del territorio. Colazione abbondante. Parcheggio gratuito. Consigliato sino

As we payed a upgrade to the second floor, I can o ly say that the standard room miss several things which we would miss. The second floor room was prefect with everything one could need. The restaurant is quite expensive and with few food elections. Whatever the lobby bar has some good tasting sandwiches etc... You come by car, as bus connections to Vejle is non existing. The surroundings offer nice forrest walks. The reception a little distancing, but OK. Our reservation over Booking com was disgusting. Their ”machine ” did not have the least understanding for a visa cart problem. 2 days before our comming, they told us the reservation for 4 days definitely was canceled 🤬 Never again through booking com.
