The hotel and surroundings are amazing! Beautiful gardens all around you… the hotel is a big garden with villas that are actually houses. I loved it! The food at the restaurants are good and reasonable price. Good variety of food at breakfast. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are great, staff is kind. Golf cars are available often to take you to the different facilities. Rental bikes in place, Spa and gym. Highly recommended even though a bit isolated from main sight seeings locations 20-30 min average but Grab (taxis) come quickly to pick you up when need it.
Very good location, probably the best hotel you'd find in Tam Coc. Great breakfast selection, large rooms with view of the Tam Coc river (can see all the boat rides). Has a swimming pool, small gym, and a nice vibe placed right in the middle of the river/lake system.
Hotel is located within the same plaza as Vincom Shopping Center and along the main street. Access to restaurants and all other amenities are mere walking distance away. Phu Ly is surprisingly interestkng
We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at AiLee in Tam Coc. It ticked all my boxes:
1. Great price for a decent sized roon.
2. Clean and comfortable bed.
3. Quiet location away from the main roads.
4. Beautiful view.
5. Warm and attentive service.
There were small areas to improve on, of course, like the slow shower drain and the repetitive breakfast options. Still, these didn't impact our positive experience at AiLee. Strongly recommended.
This is a beautiful hotel, built in the French Neoclassical style. I particularly loved the garden with the pool, nestled under the cliff. An artificial waterfall cascades down from the cliff, and in the evenings, they turn on amazing lights, making you feel like you're in a colorful Wonderland. Beyond what you can see, the jungle hums, birds and cicadas sing, and you can hear the occasional hooting sound :)
The room was clean and fresh, though if you're looking for flaws, you'll find them. The air conditioning was very high quality, and all the electrical work showed significant investment.
The breakfast was tasty, although I personally wished for more greens.
The available bicycles were a bit old, but still rideable.
Tip: Grab a bike and head straight to Thung Nham Bird Park; it's close by, about 5 km, and it was the most impressive part of my Ninh Binh trip. Make sure to go in the late afternoon so you can see the birds returning to their nests during the boat ride; storks perched like exotic flowers on the submerged trees – you float right past them, almost within arm's reach; and the multi-colored lanterns illuminating the pathways...
I will definitely come back here :)
Last times I stayed in Nam Dinh I used an international chain but was disappointed. This time I stayed here and it was an altogether much better experience. Fantastic service and comfortable large room with great room service menu. There breakfast was 1st class and can’t fault anything. 10/10
This place was our most favourite in Vietnam. The man who runs it with his wife is so friendly, always smiling and full of jokes. Every morning we was greeted with a good morning and smiles. We was allowed to rent motorcycle on the sight which was cheap and very good bikes. Plenty of suggestions and a map given if you’re unsure what to do in Da Nang. Always fresh towels given and water, everyday. Me and my Mrs loved Da Nang but staying here was the best place in my opinion. The views you see are just outstanding and only 10 mins away from the main strip
**A Hidden Paradise in Ninh Bình**
I honestly didn't expect to find something this peaceful. Tucked between towering limestone mountains and a quiet river, this resort feels like a true 世外桃源 — a world away from everything.
The pool is one of the most beautiful I've seen: spotless, calm, and perfectly framed by palm trees and thatched-roof bungalows. Every morning I'd sit by the water with the mountains rising just behind the rooftops, and it genuinely felt like the outside world had disappeared.
What made the stay truly special, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and constantly going out of their way to make guests comfortable — from a relaxing complimentary foot soak by the river to little touches like fresh tea and local snacks served in traditional bowls on the bamboo table. Nothing felt rushed or transactional; every interaction felt genuine and kind.
The surrounding scenery is stunning — bamboo groves, a floating pavilion over the water, and mountains wrapped in mist most mornings. Sitting there with tea and watching the light change over the hills was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip.
Rooms are simple but comfortable, blending naturally into the landscape with earthy tones and thatched roofs that suit the setting perfectly. It's the kind of place where you slow down without even trying.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape with genuine hospitality, clean facilities, and gorgeous natural surroundings, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a rare find — truly a paradise hidden among the mountains and water.
The hotel's location is perfect: mountainous, quiet, and you can't hear cars or scooters. The room was cleaned daily, and bottled water and fruit were provided. Breakfasts were simple but quite tasty. They also have a laundry service and scooter and bike rentals. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
3~4 May 2026 - 4 Pax 1N Narci Resort Tam Coc. Hotel Manager Jenny sent me a WhatsApp message on 2nd May to welcome us and offered her assistance to arrange for private transport & local tour etc.. Am pleased with the extended service provided by the hotel staff. Since I've yet to find a private driver, she helped to arrange for 2-way transport, pick-up from Hanoi hotel > Narci Resort > Hanoi International Airport (reasonable fees). We arrived at Tam Coc around 1pm, dropped the luggage at the hotel & visited Bai Dinh Pagoda. Checked-in the hotel around 9pm. A modern & beautiful resort opened Feb 2026. To our surprise, our 3x Deluxe Garden Rooms were in different villas & all on level 2 without elevator. My mom age 80 were unhappy as she couldn't climb the stairs & my sisters age 60 & 67 were unhappy that we were separated by different villas. Fortunately, there are 2x Executive Garden Rooms on the ground floor were available but one of the room has smell. So, we decided to pay additional fee for upgrade of 1x Deluxe > 1x Executive + 1x FOC extra bed (3 pax), the other sister stayed the level 2 Deluxe Room. Hotel breakfast spread is good & food is delicious. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel rooms & staff service. Would suggest the hotel to state there is no elevator for Deluxe Garden Room (level 2), so that guests who are unable to climb the stairs will select either the ground floor Executive Garden Room or the Tower Standard Rooms with elevator.

Very Good
GGuest UserSuper sweet and new hotel. We were the first guests after renovation. We were fulfilled every wish and cared about us.
We would certainly recommend that we continue and we would come back immediately.
Since there is something outside, a roller for moving is very useful, it can be rented directly in the hotel. The landscape around it is beautiful.
Clear recommendation 👍
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay here! Everything is brand new and works perfectly. A huge plus was being able to cast movies from my phone to the TV, as well as logging into Netflix directly.
My night bus arrived very early, and the staff told me it was no problem to check in ahead of time. I arrived around 8:00–9:00 in the morning and was able to get into my room immediately. While this might depend on how busy they are, it shows how incredibly accommodating they are.
Location-wise, it's just a 13-minute walk from the bus station, and there is plenty to see nearby, I did a lot of walking in the area. They also rent out electric bikes at great prices. Highly recommended! ( A small note, for hot water and the airco you have to switch on the black switches. I payment for me was only possible in cash.)
OOlga_GrebennikovaThis hostel is good and has a great atmosphere, especially because of the rock formations.
Pros:
- Convenient location close to the city center, shops, and main attractions.
- Buffet-style breakfast included.
- Excellent staff at the reception; Minh, a guy there, really helped me book a ticket to Cat Ba with a transfer directly from the hotel! 😍
- Laundry and drying services available, plus bicycle/motorbike rental for an additional fee.
- Beautiful surroundings.
- Low cost.
My only minor complaint is the slightly awkward stairs; I twisted my ankle a couple of times, but that's a small thing.

LLouieJayThe room I stayed in was good, clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, being close to Bai Dinh Temple and the Trang An river tour, which made exploring very convenient. The property itself is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing away from busy areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, always happy to help. There was also a very cute dog on-site, which added a lovely, homely touch. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay that I would recommend.

GGuest UserA fantastic, family-run accommodation. The rooms are spacious, with surprisingly large bathrooms, clean, and located right by the pool. There are wooden chairs right outside the door; in the evenings, it's romantically lit, but mosquito repellent is recommended. Breakfast is served, and you can choose from various categories. It's located outside the town, which makes it very quiet in the evenings. We ate at the hotel and were absolutely satisfied. The full-day excursion booked here, which included a boat trip, a visit to the ancient capital, a temple, and a sunset viewing from a mountain, was absolutely superb. We felt very comfortable with the very friendly hosts.
AAnonymous UserI'm a solo backpacker and I'm used to staying in small hostels. Wow, what a difference! It feels so good to be back in comfort!
These are very comfortable bungalows. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, as does the Wi-Fi. The bathroom is spacious and hot water is readily available. There's even a swimming pool.
The location is really nice: the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Tam Coc pier. This location allows you to be away from the hustle and bustle, in a very peaceful environment surrounded by rice paddies. There's no view directly from the hotel, but the surrounding area is beautiful and pleasant to explore. There are also several restaurants nearby.
Breakfast is excellent, prepared on-site with several options to choose from. I particularly recommend the honey pancakes, which were delicious. They are served with fresh fruit and juice.
It's also possible to rent scooters or bicycles, as well as book transfers and various activities directly on site.
I highly recommend this place, whether you're a solo backpacker looking for a comfortable break, a couple, or a family. The quality-to-comfort ratio is excellent. The family who runs the place is very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help.
Jjaren (杰仁)Initially felt that it was unbelievable that this homestay had no negative reviews at all. However, once I reached the homestay, I understood why it was so highly reviewed. Place was fantastic, with big beds and clean showers as well as hot water provided. The entire environment felt very zen and well upkept, and breakfast was served piping hot. Homestay owner was so helpful in recommendations for both food and places to visit. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Ninh Binh, was a truly insane good experience.
