Guest UserSuper sweet and new hotel. We were the first guests after renovation. We were fulfilled every wish and cared about us.
We would certainly recommend that we continue and we would come back immediately.
Since there is something outside, a roller for moving is very useful, it can be rented directly in the hotel. The landscape around it is beautiful.
Clear recommendation 👍

McSpicyI had a wonderful stay at this family owned homestay and it truly felt warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived.
The location might be slightly difficult to find at first, especially if it’s your first time visiting the area, but it’s actually very convenient. There are many businesses that open past midnight: food options, convenience stores, shopping spots, massage places, laundry services, and drinking places nearby.
One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were when I asked for milk during breakfast. Even though they did not have regular milk available, they still made the effort to find an alternative and served me soy milk instead. I was genuinely happy with that gesture because it showed how much they cared about catering to their guests’ needs and making them feel at home.
The breakfasts were one of the highlights of my stay. They served a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish one morning, and honestly, it was the best one I had during my entire stay in Vietnam. It tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, which made the experience even more special.
Because it is a new establishment, the rooms look and felt much better in person than in the pictures online. Everything was clean, cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Another great feature was that they provided electric-powered bicycles, which made it very convenient and enjoyable to explore the surrounding area.
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The genuine hospitality from the family, the delicious homemade breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, and the thoughtful amenities made this a truly memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.
Edit: super love the rocking chairs by the pool

**A Hidden Paradise in Ninh Bình**
I honestly didn't expect to find something this peaceful. Tucked between towering limestone mountains and a quiet river, this resort feels like a true 世外桃源 — a world away from everything.
The pool is one of the most beautiful I've seen: spotless, calm, and perfectly framed by palm trees and thatched-roof bungalows. Every morning I'd sit by the water with the mountains rising just behind the rooftops, and it genuinely felt like the outside world had disappeared.
What made the stay truly special, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and constantly going out of their way to make guests comfortable — from a relaxing complimentary foot soak by the river to little touches like fresh tea and local snacks served in traditional bowls on the bamboo table. Nothing felt rushed or transactional; every interaction felt genuine and kind.
The surrounding scenery is stunning — bamboo groves, a floating pavilion over the water, and mountains wrapped in mist most mornings. Sitting there with tea and watching the light change over the hills was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip.
Rooms are simple but comfortable, blending naturally into the landscape with earthy tones and thatched roofs that suit the setting perfectly. It's the kind of place where you slow down without even trying.
If you're looking for a peaceful escape with genuine hospitality, clean facilities, and gorgeous natural surroundings, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a rare find — truly a paradise hidden among the mountains and water.

This hostel is good and has a great atmosphere, especially because of the rock formations.
Pros:
- Convenient location close to the city center, shops, and main attractions.
- Buffet-style breakfast included.
- Excellent staff at the reception; Minh, a guy there, really helped me book a ticket to Cat Ba with a transfer directly from the hotel! 😍
- Laundry and drying services available, plus bicycle/motorbike rental for an additional fee.
- Beautiful surroundings.
- Low cost.
My only minor complaint is the slightly awkward stairs; I twisted my ankle a couple of times, but that's a small thing.

Serene Methias3~4 May 2026 - 4 Pax 1N Narci Resort Tam Coc. Hotel Manager Jenny sent me a WhatsApp message on 2nd May to welcome us and offered her assistance to arrange for private transport & local tour etc.. Am pleased with the extended service provided by the hotel staff. Since I've yet to find a private driver, she helped to arrange for 2-way transport, pick-up from Hanoi hotel > Narci Resort > Hanoi International Airport (reasonable fees). We arrived at Tam Coc around 1pm, dropped the luggage at the hotel & visited Bai Dinh Pagoda. Checked-in the hotel around 9pm. A modern & beautiful resort opened Feb 2026. To our surprise, our 3x Deluxe Garden Rooms were in different villas & all on level 2 without elevator. My mom age 80 were unhappy as she couldn't climb the stairs & my sisters age 60 & 67 were unhappy that we were separated by different villas. Fortunately, there are 2x Executive Garden Rooms on the ground floor were available but one of the room has smell. So, we decided to pay additional fee for upgrade of 1x Deluxe > 1x Executive + 1x FOC extra bed (3 pax), the other sister stayed the level 2 Deluxe Room. Hotel breakfast spread is good & food is delicious. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel rooms & staff service. Would suggest the hotel to state there is no elevator for Deluxe Garden Room (level 2), so that guests who are unable to climb the stairs will select either the ground floor Executive Garden Room or the Tower Standard Rooms with elevator.

The room I stayed in was good, clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, being close to Bai Dinh Temple and the Trang An river tour, which made exploring very convenient. The property itself is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing away from busy areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, always happy to help. There was also a very cute dog on-site, which added a lovely, homely touch. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay that I would recommend.

The hotel and surroundings are amazing! Beautiful gardens all around you… the hotel is a big garden with villas that are actually houses. I loved it! The food at the restaurants are good and reasonable price. Good variety of food at breakfast. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are great, staff is kind. Golf cars are available often to take you to the different facilities. Rental bikes in place, Spa and gym. Highly recommended even though a bit isolated from main sight seeings locations 20-30 min average but Grab (taxis) come quickly to pick you up when need it.

Guest UserA fantastic, family-run accommodation. The rooms are spacious, with surprisingly large bathrooms, clean, and located right by the pool. There are wooden chairs right outside the door; in the evenings, it's romantically lit, but mosquito repellent is recommended. Breakfast is served, and you can choose from various categories. It's located outside the town, which makes it very quiet in the evenings. We ate at the hotel and were absolutely satisfied. The full-day excursion booked here, which included a boat trip, a visit to the ancient capital, a temple, and a sunset viewing from a mountain, was absolutely superb. We felt very comfortable with the very friendly hosts.

I'm a solo backpacker and I'm used to staying in small hostels. Wow, what a difference! It feels so good to be back in comfort!
These are very comfortable bungalows. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, as does the Wi-Fi. The bathroom is spacious and hot water is readily available. There's even a swimming pool.
The location is really nice: the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Tam Coc pier. This location allows you to be away from the hustle and bustle, in a very peaceful environment surrounded by rice paddies. There's no view directly from the hotel, but the surrounding area is beautiful and pleasant to explore. There are also several restaurants nearby.
Breakfast is excellent, prepared on-site with several options to choose from. I particularly recommend the honey pancakes, which were delicious. They are served with fresh fruit and juice.
It's also possible to rent scooters or bicycles, as well as book transfers and various activities directly on site.
I highly recommend this place, whether you're a solo backpacker looking for a comfortable break, a couple, or a family. The quality-to-comfort ratio is excellent. The family who runs the place is very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help.

Cathy’sWe also stayed at this hotel in Ninh Binh. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, although there were a few things that could be improved.
The location is good, surrounded by beautiful greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The road leading to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but it’s manageable. We stayed in a bungalow, which was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
The only issue with the bungalow was the strong smell of incense. It was noticeable throughout our stay and didn’t seem to disappear. I’m quite sensitive to strong scents, so it was a little uncomfortable for me. I’m not sure whether it was used to keep mosquitoes away or for another reason.
Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it didn’t look very clean. We noticed insects floating in the water, including a cockroach, and there was quite a lot of kids, so we decided not to swim.
Apart from those issues, the hotel was enjoyable. The peaceful surroundings, lush greenery, and kind staff made for a relaxing stay. If the pool were maintained better and the strong incense smell reduced, the experience would have been much better.
