I highly recommend Breeze Bar for its excellent service and delicious cocktails. The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience memorable.

The beef lasagna was really good—freshly made and full of flavor. Cozy spot, though the wait got a bit long when it got busy.

Coffee's hit or miss here. My cappuccino was decent, but a friend said the Americano came out weak and watery. Stick to the food, probably safer.

The lagoon-side tables are the way to go here. Sunset was gorgeous, breeze kept things comfortable. Had a decent bottle of wine with the grilled prawns—nothing fancy but paired well. Service was a bit slow between courses, but honestly didn't mind since we weren't in a rush. Good spot to unwind.

The veg curry plate in Negombo was really good—five different curries, each one fresh and tasty. Price felt fair for the portion. 🌊

Clean place, tables had fresh cloths which I always notice. Menu was straightforward, no squinting to read it. Prices seemed fair for what you get. Staff left us alone to look things over, no hovering or pushing us to order. That kind of calm is nice when you just want a relaxed meal.

We stopped by Olu for lunch while staying at Anantara. Ganganath looked after us well, friendly without being pushy. I had a glass of their house white with the seafood—decent pairing, nothing fancy but it worked. Food was solid, though the service was the real highlight. Place was a bit quiet for a weekday afternoon, which suited us fine.

Came here for the grilled fish and prawns—both were done right, fresh and simple. Sunset view from the beach is hard to beat. Staff were friendly, didn’t hover too much. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the location it’s fair enough. Decent spot if you’re in the area.

Came for the sunset view and honestly that’s the main reason to go. Food was decent, nothing crazy. Service took a while though, we waited a bit between dishes. Still, sitting there watching the sky change made it worth it.

The shrimp curry was the star — big juicy prawns in a sauce that had real depth. Sides were decent too. Fried rice fell a bit flat but honestly didn't care once I got into the curry. Fresh juices are a good shout if you need something cold.

Came here for the grilled prawns and they didn’t disappoint. Fresh, juicy, decent size for the price. Sitting right by the beach with the breeze made it better. Service was friendly, nothing fancy but fine. Place gets a bit busy around sunset, so you might wait a little. Still, a solid spot if you’re in the area and want seafood without the tourist markup. 🦐

Seafood platter was massive. Fresh too, easily fed two of us. Waiter Maditha looked after us well. That's about it. Solid spot if you're after a feed.

Nice spot to catch the sunset with the bonfire going. Drinks were good, staff friendly enough. Music was decent too. Bit of a walk to get here but worth it for the vibe.

Grilled fish was fresh and cooked right. Got in and out quick, no fuss. Staff left me alone until I needed them. Solid spot for a fast lunch.

The grilled cuttlefish was really soft, not rubbery at all. Portion felt fair for what we paid. Place has a chill vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Solid pub, decent drinks list. Food's alright and portions are big for what you pay. Gets pretty loud on weekends though, hard to have a chat.

Picked my own lobster right from the tank—super fresh. The mix fried rice was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Small family-run place, felt pretty cozy.

Fresh lobster and prawns right by the beach. Caught by the owner himself, so you know it's fresh. Quick service too. Simple place, but that's the charm.

Solid local spot for seafood. The cuttlefish was really good and prices felt fair. Just had to wait a bit longer than I'd like when it got busy.

The grilled jumbo shrimp with garlic sauce was the reason I stayed longer than planned. Juicy, smoky, just enough garlic. Portions are generous too, which surprised me for the price. Owners let me take my time deciding, no rush at all. Place was a bit warm inside but honestly didn’t care by the end.

Seafood platter for two was solid, prawn curry really stood out. Service was quick and friendly. Parking nearby is a bit of a hassle though. 🦐

Came here for coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned. The garden seating is really peaceful, nice shade and just chill vibes. Coffee was genuinely good, probably one of the best I had in Sri Lanka. Staff were friendly too, no rush at all. Wish I had more time to just sit there honestly.

Stopped by for a late breakfast. Had the kottu roti, spicy enough to wake me up properly. Chicken pieces were decent, not dry. The curry sauce on the side was the real deal though. Owner looked a bit annoyed when I asked for extra takeaway, but whatever. Food did the job.
