Been coming here for years, and the barn section is still my favorite spot. It's just the right kind of casual. You can relax, have a laugh, and the vibe never gets too loud. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Came for the wine list, stayed for the vibe. That soft lighting and the music mix is pure Capitol Hill. Our server knew her stuff, suggested a fantastic red that went perfectly with the braised short rib. A bit on the pricier side for the pour, but the pairing was spot on.

Happy hour is such a steal! The half-price bar menu until 6:30pm is great. We had a bottle of their house rosé and a few dishes—everything was huge and tasty.

Had dinner before a show. The food was delicious, really fresh. I appreciated the simple, clean ingredients in my salad and grilled fish. We came back to the bar later, which was nice.

Cozy spot with a nice wood interior. The booths are comfy, but it does get a bit warm from the kitchen. The music playlist was spot on. I enjoyed a crisp white wine that paired nicely with the overall relaxed vibe.

Got the signature ramen on a Wednesday morning. Broth was rich, noodles had a good chew. The chashu was tender but could've been a bit warmer. That's really all I care about.

Good sushi for the price. The fish quality and knife work are solid, especially considering what other places charge downtown.

Grilled shrimp with that mustard sauce is a winner. Had it last night, messy but worth it. The steak frites were okay, black pepper sauce was decent. Been coming here for years, they keep it simple and solid.

The pho broth add-on for the banh mi is a smart move. You get a little cup of that rich, savory broth to dunk the sandwich in. It softens the bread just enough and adds a whole new layer of flavor. Totally worth the extra couple bucks.

The vegan tasting menu was a highlight. I really appreciated how fresh and seasonal the ingredients felt in each course. The mocktail pairing was a nice touch, it complemented the clean flavors well. A thoughtful meal.

Their fried chicken is legit. The coating stays crispy forever, and it's got this nice little kick of spice. We were stuffed after sharing one order.

Fun spot with a pool table! Went with a few friends and we ended up just hanging there for hours. The drinks were solid, and the vibe was perfect for catching up. Could see this being our new regular meet-up place.

The Tomahawk Ribeye is solid. They serve it with a heat plate so you can adjust the doneness yourself. A practical setup for a group. The steak itself was good, though a bit pricey for the portion.

As someone who watches what I eat, the detailed allergen menu was a huge help. Our server suggested a nice dry Riesling to go with the fried rice, which was spot on. Made the whole meal relaxed and enjoyable.

Sushi without mayo. Finally. The sashimi was super fresh, rolls were clean and tasty. Exactly what I wanted.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The pastrami sandwich is the move. Thick cut, super juicy, and that peppery seasoning is just right. It's really what makes it.

The tomato soup was a solid choice on a chilly evening. I appreciated the server's suggestion for a crisp white wine to go with it—really cut through the richness. Friendly team, though the pacing between courses felt a bit rushed.

The lunch tasting menu is a nice deal. The crispy duck rolls were fresh and light, not greasy at all. My butter chicken entree had a good balance of spices, and the portion was just right for a midday meal. Everything tasted clean and well-prepared.

The adobo was the real deal. Tender pork, that perfect balance of soy and vinegar, not too sweet. Just a deep, savory flavor that sticks with you. Had it with a mountain of rice, exactly how it should be.

Their shakshuka is spot on, really flavorful. Comes with this fresh, warm bread that’s perfect for dipping. My only thing is, some of the sides felt a little steep for what you get. Still, that shakshuka is a solid order.

They really took care of my dietary needs. Checked in with me beforehand and made some smart swaps that kept the spirit of the dishes. Felt well looked after.

Clam chowder in the sourdough bowl. That's the move. 🍞 Rich and creamy, bread was toasted just right. Got it to go and it hit the spot.

The lighting was so soft and warm. Really made the Sichuan ribs and mala chicken taste even better.

Happy hour’s a solid deal here. I tried their Manhattan—really well balanced, just the right amount of bite. The warm toddy was a nice companion on a chilly evening. Perfect for winding down after work.

Been coming here for years. The garlic chicken slice is my go-to. It's always just as good as I remember, never greasy, and the garlic flavor is spot on. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The oysters are so fresh and sweet! Perfect for sharing with friends.
