"Overall, this is a really excellent local five-star hotel. Zhijin isn't a big place, and compared to other small cities in Guizhou, Zhijin Hotel is a cut above. The hygiene is good, the hotel room facilities are relatively new, and the quality of the amenities is decent. The Chinese restaurant offers generous portions and the food tastes great. The hotel itself is grandly built with good views. The service is slightly less refined than what you'd find at a chain five-star hotel in a major city, but they still have a proactive service mindset. The hotel's SPA and foot massage service is excellent; it's very refreshing after a walk through Zhijin Cave. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhijin!"

"The price was very high and the service was mediocre. I've stayed in many hotels like this... The only advantage of choosing this one was its proximity to the Grand Waterfall... but they only drop you off at the entrance. For all other attractions, you have to take the shuttle bus back and forth. We exited the Grand Waterfall at the wrong place and asked if they could pick us up, even though it was less than 200 meters away. They refused, saying the shuttle bus couldn't leave the designated route, etc. Is there no other car besides the shuttle? Breakfast ends at 10 AM, and I personally think it should be extended by half an hour, especially since the nearby attractions require at least two hours of walking. You'll be exhausted when you return to the hotel... The temperature in the hotel's hot spring pools varied greatly, with some feeling like cold water... and they weren't very clean either... This hotel is quite old... I recommend a renovation."

"The double bed is large and you can clip Xiaobao in the middle. The tent is large enough for an adult to sleep, and the boss can sleep in the tent. We and our parents have a total of 6 people in just two rooms. Adults sleep in a big bed and children sleep in a tent. This night's stay is comfortable. The hot spring water of Jianhe is really good, the water is slippery, and the skin is slippery. The hotel's supporting hot spring pool environment is natural, various flower pools and medicine pools, the cave area has not had time to soak, the front has been very comfortable. From the medicine pool of 35℃ to the flower pool of 44℃, from cold to hot, the whole person is warm. The hotel sent 4 hot spring tickets per room. We soaked once on the day of check-in, and then soaked again after breakfast the next day. The day of check-in happened to be the Lantern Festival. "The room was incredibly spacious! Absolutely amazing! A big shout out to Zhao at the front desk for helping us arrange for a bellhop to take our luggage to the room. She also made sure we got connecting rooms, which was fantastic! And the service of storing our items in the fridge and delivering them to our room at 6 AM was excellent. This was by far the best and largest hotel we stayed at during our trip to Guizhou, and the breakfast was also superb."

"Before check-in, the concierge, Lucas, added me on WeChat, which made communication very easy. Throughout our stay, Lucas was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us with many questions and requests. Thumbs up for the service! The hotel is about five or six years old, but the facilities are very well-maintained and it's quiet. It's conveniently located, about a 10-minute drive from museums, Guanshan Lake, and the dining street near the Convention and Exhibition Center. The hotel's own restaurants are also excellent, featuring authentic Guizhou flavors, and the food is delicious. It's one of the best hotel restaurants I've experienced. I highly, highly recommend staying here! It's so much better than a certain older hotel near Guanshan Lake. When we asked to have our two rooms together, Hilton was largely able to accommodate us. That other hotel, however, communicated with arrogance from the start and even told us to try asking other hotels. The difference in attitude was night and day."

We took our one-year-old on a two-day short trip. It was a two-hour drive from Guiyang, and the roads were pretty good. As soon as we arrived at the guesthouse, we could feel the immense enthusiasm from every single staff member; the service was truly excellent! The East Restaurant has baby high chairs, and upon check-in, we received fruit and snacks. Although it was a shame that it rained constantly during our two-day stay, you could still tell the environment here is beautiful. You can feed the sika deer, and there's also a swimming pool. The indoors were also quite clean and hygienic. We definitely want to come back in the summer; it'll be perfect for photos and very relaxing!

Very bad experience. Would not recommend. Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it. Chinese version for locals - 整体体验非常差。我们带着很多行李到达时，居然没有任何人接待我们。该家酒店不接受办理入住，办理入住非常混乱，我们还得走到另一家酒店的服务台，等了30分钟，工作人员却不知道该怎么操作。后来我们被安排到另一家酒店的房间，结果又打电话来说那个房间已经被别人预订了，还得再换一次。连瓶装水都没有，要在微信群里发消息才会送来。唯一好的地方就是保安很热心。不推荐入住。整体体验非常差一个度假村行的酒店管理却做得如此之差，不知道是怎么经营下来的。

The room was great, with a floor-to-ceiling window where I could also make tea. Getting around was convenient too, as it's right next to an ancient town, but it wasn't noisy at night and the soundproofing was good. The front desk service was excellent, and there's a bus stop right across from the hotel. Highly recommend!

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

📍 The location is absolutely amazing: just a 5-meter walk to the observation deck, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Miao village. It's incredibly convenient, especially for seniors. 🏨 Facilities & Service are top-notch: There's an elevator, which is a huge plus for older guests! The service is superb; everything from check-in to check-out was perfectly arranged. 🍴 The restaurant, ”Chunxi Xiaoguan,” is legendary: The sour soup fish and the intangible cultural heritage 'sweat chicken' are fantastic, great value for money, and delicious. You can also request other stir-fried dishes to be made non-spicy. This guesthouse's own restaurant is truly a hidden gem, with high ratings and many returning customers. Highly, highly recommended. From location and service to food and overall experience, this beautiful guesthouse is flawless! If you're coming to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, you absolutely must stay here. It's hassle-free and perfect for photos. I'll definitely be back next time!

The city view suite is perfect for couples! With 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy cityscapes during the day and catch stunning sunsets in the evening. You can even see Jiaxiu Tower right from your bed, and every photo you take will have a great vibe. 💖 Service exceeded expectations! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had. 🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples! The American-style cafe downstairs is also a great spot to take photos and have coffee with your partner. There are free welcome fruits and coffee/drinks at the front desk, and even laundry and drying services. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I absolutely loved it.
