I unfortunately booked an executive suite. Firstly, its location was inconveniently far from the elevator, and it seems all executive suites across all floors are situated in the same corner spot. The suite was definitely overpriced for its small size, and the layout was poorly designed. Furthermore, the amenities were neglected; the Jacuzzi was dirty, broken, emitted a foul odor when operated, and even expelled debris. I reported this to the front desk, and they moved me to another suite, but it had the exact same problems. I absolutely do not recommend anyone choose an executive suite; it's a complete waste of money.
My ratings:
Executive Suite Design & Location: 2/10
Overall Cleanliness: 8/10 (though they could improve by changing towels more frequently)
Breakfast: 1/10 (Too focused on Asian food, despite most guests being Arabs, especially Saudis)
Pricing (Value for Money): 5/10 (Overpriced)
View & Hotel Location: 5/10
I suggest they lower their prices and encourage guests to choose a standard room with a river view. They should also pay more attention to offering Eastern, Arabic, and Western food options. Finally, some staff members were notably unwelcoming towards Arab guests and made no effort to provide better service.
The hotel feels quite old. The facilities in the room feel like they haven't been updated for a long time. The Internet is also limited to a few accounts. The hotel is not expensive and there is a shopping mall opposite. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. Overall, it is not highly recommended.
Everything was good, but the air conditioning felt hot. The room temperature was around 28-30 degrees Celsius even though the AC remote was set to 16 and the fan speed was at its highest. It only started to feel a bit cool towards dawn. Both rooms had the same issue.
Honestly, this is the most crowded hotel I've ever stayed at. It was difficult to find parking, but luckily there was a staff member to help park the car. It was a bit of a hassle if you left something in the car because the parking lot was quite far, and they had to take me there on a motorbike ๐ .
For breakfast, there were many menu options, but because it was extremely crowded, many items ran out and took a long time to be refilled. Plates and glasses also ran out and weren't refilled quickly. There was a lot of food, but the taste was standard. They had everything from gudeg, nasi kuning, pasta, an Indomie station, and even Japanese food.
Kids' activities were also plentiful but pretty standard. Because it was so crowded, it felt cramped ๐๐ป. The free playground was small, and the ball pit cost an additional 75k. The mini zoo was okay; animal food cost 20k. Cooking classes cost another 125k, and even requesting a birthday cake was an extra charge.
Our superior twin room had very standard facilities, nothing special for the 1 million IDR-ish price. It was a bit musty, the bed size felt like 100cm, and the towels and pillowcases were less than fresh, looking rather dull.
Would I come back? No, once was enough ๐๐ป๐
Bedroom was oke, i doubt if the twin bed is 120cm, i guess its just 100cm, not sure ๐ค didnt bring any ruler.
Breakfast was good, i like their croissant.
Swimming pool : their small pool (the round one, prv was jacuzzi i think) has warm water.
Staff was friendly,
Surprisingly they have โmini market kejujuranโ (honesty mini market) the price was so cheap considering inside 4star hotel,
and they have UMKM CANTEEN which was cheap too i dont know about the taste as i didnt try.
Walking distance to braga street,
I had attend mass in the morning, next to this hotel is Cathedral, the mass on Sunday is at 6am, 11am & 5pm.
I walked to Bandung Indah Plaza it was still walking distance for me ๐ (1km) and i can borrowed their umbrella incase its rain, they write my room number & return the umbrella after im done.
Parking lot for cars is in the basement, staff was really helpful.
Overall was a good stay.
The place is good, the food is delicious. It's just that the location needs a struggle and food can't be delivered to the room. The elderly who can't go up and down the stairs should not come here.
A good budget-hotel. Within a walking distance from CSB mall (the biggest mall in town). You can choose this hotel over swiss-bel, which is connected to the mall, if you can bear 5-min walk. Their room rate is typically only 30-40% of swiss-bel. But you only get what you pay for. You should expect to encouter roaches, dirty bed linen, etc. Not always tho.ย
The only thing they lack as a budget business hotel is the hair dryer. (If you stay multiple days, you still get better off by buyig one at CSB mall.)
I've stayed here many times, and will choose this again even after encountering roaches two days in a row in my latest stay (I stayed only for 2 nights lol)
Its a very nice and tranquil hotel. The rooms and buildings are rather old (built in the 80s), but they were maintained properly. The fixtures in the room, however, could use an upgrade to more modern ones, auch as rhe toilet bowl, cabinets, shower tiles, night stands, tables and chair. I stayed at a room with hot tub, and the hot tub is big and beautiful, but looks rather old and need to be renovated. It was a big room so it makes the rate that I paid was very worth it. The self parking was not covered. I arrived when it was raining hard. I soaked my clothes as there no umbrella I can borrow nor anybody there to help with umbrella. I reported to receptionist with my soaking wet clohtes, they just apologized and nothing to be done, not even offer towel to dry my clothes. This was big disappointment as it was a novotel, hospitality attention should be paid. The hotel was kind of a javanese old colonial model, so open style and you can enjoy fresh air. When the weather is hot, however, it could be really hot and steamy. Over all, it was a value for money hotel. Check in was very pleasant and fast. Since it was a secluded area which brings tranquility and fresh ait, it is located in rather secluded housing compound. So u have to go through rather small street to get here and no other restaurant except in the hotel. However, it is next to bogor raya golf course and they provide bicycle for excursion, also other activities. Keep it up, I will definitely come back to stay when I golf around the area or short staycation with family.

We booked the hotel without having high expectations and we were extremely well surprised. The location is very good of course. The staff very professional and welcoming. And I think the biggest surprise was the facilities for the kids: all what kids can dream of in a such condensed place: pool, slides, sandboxes, kids club and even a mini zoo. Most of the activities are free of charge and other are at a very reasonable price just to support the staff I think. Also, we made very nice friends there as many conferences and events are run. It is a very convenient place to have a break inside the city especially for families with young kids.
