Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is divided into two parts by the Gold Coast Highway, with a tunnel connecting the two sides. In addition to traditional viewing areas, there are many kinds of wild animals here, making it a good place to have close contact with natural species. You can observe crocodiles, cassowaries, and possums, and you can also sit quietly in a corner of the park and watch parrots and colorful sparrows soar in the sky. Here, kangaroos and koalas are kept in a nearly wild state, and you can have fun with them, such as feeding the lorikeets and taking commemorative photos with the koalas! Gold Coast beach stretches for approx. 70 km, and its golden sand is a hallmark of this coastline, which is how it got the name Gold Coast. The sand is fine and glows with a warm golden luster in the sunlight, while the water transitions from a shallow turquoise near the shore to a deep blue in the distance, creating distinct layers. The beach features several distinct sections along its length, with a lively atmosphere in the north and a relatively quieter vibe in the south, catering to visitors with different preferences. Surfing is a signature, long-standing experience at this beach. The coastline boasts several famous surf breaks, including the Superbank near Snapper Rocks, which is known for producing long, hollow waves that attract a large number of surfers year-round. Surf lifesavers patrol the beach, and red and yellow flags mark safe swimming areas. A coastal walkway connects the various beach sections, making it a great way to explore by walking or cycling. The beach enjoys abundant sunshine and a mild climate year-round, with different sections catering to various needs.Surfers Paradise · 10.3 km from Burleigh Heads

Gold Coast Sea World is a long-established marine theme park in Australia, located along the coastal area in the northern part of the Gold Coast. It combines marine animal exhibits, animal shows, and amusement rides into one park, offering both wildlife viewing and thrilling attractions. Animal encounters are the main highlight here: the penguin exhibit houses king penguins and gentoo penguins, where visitors can watch them waddle or dive into the water through viewing glass set against an icy landscape. The polar bear shores recreate the rocky coasts and pools of the Arctic summer, providing a rare chance to see polar bears in Australia. Shark Bay teems with sharks and rays, while the nearby ray reef allows hands-on interaction with rays. At seal harbor, Australian sea lions and fur seals bask on the shore or playfully chase each other in the water. The park hosts multiple daily dolphin shows and sea lion educational presentations—it's recommended to check the day's time slots upon arrival to plan your itinerary, and arrive early to secure seats for popular shows. Families with children shouldn't miss Nickelodeon Land, where animated characters like SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Dora, and PAW Patrol's Chase and Marshall meet travelers for photos. Thrill-seekers can tackle the wooden coaster Leviathan, the motorbike-style Jet Rescue coaster, and the splash-filled Storm Coaster. △ Meet your favorite animation characters △ Get close to marine life △ Experience thrilling amusement itemsMain Beach · 16.4 km from Burleigh Heads

Surfers Paradise (Surfers Paradise) is a favorite surfing spot for Australians. Every morning after 6 o'clock, the sun has just risen from the ocean, and the rays of light cover the beach. You can see young men and women come here and start surfing in the waves. Fight, rush, and show your majesty. Surfers Paradise has shallow water and big waves, which is very suitable for surfing. Going far into the sea is a shallow beach, and even if you fall, you can stand up immediately. In deep water, your legs are tied to the surfboard, and the surfboard won't sink, so even if you can't swim, you can still experience the fun of surfing. There are many surfing experience shops near the beach. Certified professional instructors will teach you how to surf, starting from the knowledge of the board. The teaching process includes boardboarding, how to choose waves, how to stand up, knowledge of ocean currents, etc. A range of what you need.Surfers Paradise · 11.3 km from Burleigh Heads

We went straight to the zoo after getting off the plane. We arrived quite late, but we were lucky enough to see most of the animals, including wombats, Tasmanian devils, and smiling rats. A great zoo, highly recommended. The coffee at the entrance was delicious, and feeding the parrots was also very interesting. Feeding starts at 4 PM, and even when we left at 5 PM, there were still parrots to feed.

It was so much fun, much better than Tokyo DisneySea! The lines for the rides were shorter, and there were shows and interactions with manta rays. It's a shame we arrived a bit late in the morning and missed out on so many rides. The only downside was that the daily operating hours were too short. It's perfect for the whole family (the worst part is that adults aren't allowed to ride the carousel because they're tall; they can only ride in small cars, ugh).

The deepest feeling of the Gold Coast hot air balloon experience is to get up very early, but when the hot air balloon slowly lifts off to see the sunrise, it feels like everything is worth it, and the lifting process is very smooth, looking out from high altitude views are very open!

It's actually a bit difficult. It's very hard to stand on the board and keep your balance. It's also very tiring. But my child loves it so much that she strongly asked to sign up for another class the next day. She was ranked first in her favorite sport, hahahaha

An hour of tour was so relaxing. Crossing from land to water and vice versa was fascinating. Tour guides were fun and informative. Registration was quick, our tickets were already printed by staff before we arrived and didn't need any more details or IDs. The given time frame was also followed. Overall, very good!

[Scenery] One of the most beautiful beaches on the Gold Coast! [Fun] Lots of people surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️🏄🏻‍♂️ and even watch the sunrise. [Value] Plenty of apartment-style hotels nearby, so you can choose the right budget for your budget. A comfortable stay here for three to five days, or even a week or two.
