As a solo traveler, finding the right balance between exploring and relaxing can be tricky, but this Phuket City Tour was the absolute perfect way to kick off my trip! 🌴
We started at Wat Chalong, and it immediately set a serene tone for the day. The intricate details on the temple buildings were stunning, and learning about the history there felt very grounding. From there, we headed up to the Big Buddha. The drive up the winding hills was an adventure in itself! Once there, the sheer scale of the statue was breathtaking, and the 360-degree panoramic views of the island stretching out below honestly gave me chills (in the best way possible). 🏝️
The second half of the tour was a fantastic change of pace. Exploring Phuket Old Town was a dream—the colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture and quirky street art were incredibly photogenic. 📸 I loved wandering the quiet side streets and imagining the island's history. Then, we stopped by the cashew nut factory, which was wonderful.★

Tickets were issued quickly, and booking online in advance was cheaper than buying them at the venue. The actors performed with great enthusiasm and passion, the music was wonderful, and the performances were diverse in style – definitely worth seeing.★

We booked on the morning of the experience and chose our own itinerary for the 8 hour drive. Danny picked us up promptly and drove safely through the torrential rain to various places including Wat Chalong, the Big Buddha (closed due to a landslide but still awe inspiring), Kan Eang at Pier for lunch then on to Old Phuket Town and Lard Yai Market. He was a lovely travelling companion. It was a great way to see the sites we wanted to. We would highly recommend this company.
