The explanation in Japanese is not kind, probably because it is machine translation, but it was an Eurail German rail pass. Since I had purchased a continuous ticket, I thought I needed to activate it only at first, but be careful as I have to activate it with the app every day on the day of use.★

I was surprised to enjoy this place. I also learned a lot about an essential mineral. I had a lot of fun riding down the wooden slide. You’ll need to wear a miner’s overalls which they provide. I highly suggest you wear pants under it. Fun!★

As a huge Sound of Music fan, traveling to Salzburg and seeing the sites where the movie was filmed has been a bucket list item for me. The Original Sound of Music Tour did not disappoint. The credit for this exceptional experience goes to our tour guide (I believe his name was Peter). I loved his humor in his descriptions and especially in his behind the scenes stories. I will never forget his leading us in singing on the bus, especially his acting out of Do, Re, Mi. He was fantastic, and I feel very fortunate he was our guide. In a perfect world, we would have done the Sound of Music tour in the morning while the sun was out, and the Salt Mines tour in the afternoon when it was raining!
