I usually use a physical SIM card when traveling, but this time I was in a rush and didn't have time to buy one, so I tried using an eSIM for the first time. I thought it would be a lot of work, but it turned out to be so simple – just follow the instructions! The reception is great. It didn't load at startup, which I thought was a problem, so I turned it off and on again, and then it worked. It automatically connects to the network when crossing borders, which is very convenient! After this initial experience, I will definitely buy an eSIM to replace the physical SIM card in the future.

Easy set-up. The email comes with a link set up for IOS, no need to use the QR code. A lot smoother than some other providers. Good connection in Macau and Hong Kong.

It's a very convenient option for short stays in the country. I was always connected. The only downside is that you need to activate the SIM card upon arrival, but without WiFi, that's impossible, and not all airports connect to WiFi right away. But overall, it's very convenient not to have to bother with buying a SIM card.


