Yunshi Mountain Former Site
The Yunshishan Revolutionary Sites are located in Yunshishan Township, 19 kilometers west of Ruijin City. Yunshishan is a small hill protruding from the flat ground, no more than 50 meters high and less than a kilometer in radius. It is surrounded by cliffs on all sides. It's a great place for a red tourism trip with kids, but the queue at the Red Well was so long that we almost couldn't take a picture. Maybe it would be better to go at other times; avoid holidays when it gets too crowded.

3. There is an air-raid shelter outside the venue, which was built to ensure the safety of the leaders attending the meeting. I went in and took a look around. After I came out, the last bus of Line 3 was over, and I missed the bus for two consecutive days.

The Shazhouba Revolutionary Site is located in Shazhouba Town, Ruijin City, under the jurisdiction of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. In April 1933, the Central Government and organs of the Chinese Soviet Republic moved from Yeping to Shazhouba, which became the second residence of the Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic in Ruijin and the heart of the revolutionary base. Many revolutionary sites are preserved here, and it has now been built into a red tourist attraction, a national key cultural relic protection unit, and a national 5A-level tourist attraction.

Wolong Academy, founded during the Shaoding era of the Southern Song Dynasty, is located at the southern foot of Wolong Mountain. It is the oldest academy in the eight counties of Tingzhou and the highest institution of learning in western Fujian. Song Dynasty Neo-Confucian philosopher Zhu Xi and Ming Dynasty scholar Wang Yangming both lectured and taught here, nurturing the cultural heritage of Tingzhou. Over 300 scholars from the area have passed the imperial examinations here throughout history.
The academy is conveniently located on the west side of Xinmin Street in the ancient city of Changting, a 5-minute walk from Sanyuan Pavilion. The grounds feature pavilions and towers, as well as introductions to the academy and Neo-Confucianism, offering both fun and educational opportunities, making it ideal for family visits.
Walking out of the academy towards the river leads to Jichuan Gate, the most bustling area of the ancient city of Tingzhou.

I arrived just in time for the guided tour. The scenery was beautiful. Although it wasn't Mid-Autumn Festival or National Day when I visited Gulangyu again after twelve years, there were still many people on Gulangyu during those three days in between.
