Upon arriving at Vitznau by boat, seamlessly transition to the connecting train that will whisk you to the summit of majestic Mount Rigi. There, immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring 360-degree panorama that stretches before you. Take a leisurely stroll (approximately 35 minutes) or opt for the hourly train to Rigi Kaltbad.

Visit the mineral baths, where relaxation knows no bounds. Remember to pack your own swimwear and towel (if available), though towel rentals are offered onsite for a small fee of CHF 6 per piece.

From the tranquil Kaltbad, begin your journey back by catching the sustainable cogwheel train return to Vitznau at 15:15, 16:15, or 17:15 to connect with the boat ride back to Lucerne. Alternatively, take the cable car at 16:10, 16:40, 17:10, or 17:40, from Kaltbad bound for Weggis.

Should inclement weather or maintenance cause the closure of the cable car, the train to Vitznau stands ready as an alternative (no refunds when the cable car is closed).
