We loved this experience and would highly recommend it. Set in a charming music room of an historic house, we benefited from an intimate performance by Claudia and her two accomplices. The quality of their respective performances were far beyond our expectations and their enthusiasm and engagement with the small (10 person), multicultural audience was delightful and amusing. Along with the music we were treated to a generous glass of tawny port and a welcome pastis de nata. Claudia's voice reminded me of a plaintive Edith Piaf and enabled us to feel both the highs and lows of a Fado. This did not feel like a standard 'tourist' performance. It was much more.★

The tour was excellent, our group rode on three 7-seated mini-vans, tasted different wines, say, white wine, red wine, port wine and green wine, as well as a light dinner in a wonderful view of sun set. Because of storms in the last few weeks and the boat tour had to be cancelled, the itinerary was carefully amended. Have to say a big thankyou to the tourist guides, they were so friendly and knowledgeable about wine, history and culture. The trip worths much more than the cost.★

It was fantastic to see so many places in one day, even though it was a bit tiring. The misty weather meant we couldn't see any of the amazing views from on top of the mountains, but that's not the guide's fault. He made us laugh by making jokes about the weather. Could have done with a bit more time in Guimaraes.★

It was a wonderful trip to the beautiful Douro Valley. We had a fantastic day filled with memorable experiences, delicious food, plenty of wine tastings, and fascinating tours of local wineries.
Telma was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of history and fascinating background stories about the region, the wine industry, and Portugal in general. She took genuine care of everyone in the group and was especially attentive to me—applying ice packs several times after I accidentally bumped my forehead while boarding the bus (so please be careful and avoid making the same clumsy mistake I did!).
I feel really fortunate to have chosen this tour and to have met her.
