I booked a day tour from New Delhi to the Taj Mahal through Ctrip. The tour included a car, driver, and guide for the two of us, and entrance fees and lunch. The outbound journey took three hours, and the return trip, including airport transfer, took four hours. Since we had an evening flight, we only visited the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, skipping the smaller Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was truly breathtaking, a world-class heritage site. The white marble building is majestic and solemn, with exquisite carvings and gemstone inlays. Coupled with the ancient love story, it's poignant and romantic, definitely worth a visit. Agra Fort is a red fort, somewhat rustic compared to the Taj Mahal, but it offers a distant view of the Taj Mahal. I had some concerns before the trip, but communicating with customer service throughout the process alleviated many of them. The driver picked us up from the hotel on time and took us to the airport on time on the return trip, making it a very satisfying trip. The guide spoke Chinese, which was a pleasant surprise, as he had previously lived in China. He mentioned that not many Chinese people travel to India, and he hoped more Chinese compatriots would experience Indian culture. It's worth noting that you should bring some Indian rupees in cash, as ATMs in India do not accept Chinese credit cards.

Even though I traveled on the train by myself without a guide by my side the whole time, the trip was completely hassle-free. I didn’t get lost at all and didn't have to wait in any long lines. The driver provided incredible support from start to finish—from the hotel pickup to boarding the train, from getting off the train to meeting the guide, and right back to the hotel at the end of the day. My tour guide, HASHIM KHAN, was highly experienced and wonderful. Perfect for an India newbie just like me! Visiting the Taj Mahal was one of the best experiences of my life, thanks to the fascinating architectural and historical details Hashim shared with me. He even negotiated the price and arranged a local photographer for me, who took some really fun and amazing photos. The lunch was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Everything was well organized, from the timely pickup to the end of the day. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He explained the history and culture clearly and also knew the best spots for photos, helping us capture many beautiful memories. The driver was punctual, polite, and drove safely. The car was clean and comfortable throughout the journey. Lunch was another highlight. We were taken to a premium restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and a great buffet selection, with plenty of dishes to choose from. Everything was fresh and delicious. A friend who took the same tour last month recommended the shopping stops, so we decided to visit them. We visited a marble workshop and jewellery shop, learned about traditional craftsmanship, and bought a marble item and some jewellery. There was no pressure to purchase anything. Overall, a smooth, comfortable, informative, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
