We booked via trip.com, manager and driver contact via WeChat almost immediately. There we choose pick up point wich was available nearest to hotel and got all instructions, all went smooth, we departed from Yanji at 7 am on tour bus- mixed group, got all tour info and enter tickets from the driver via WeChat - 2 QR code, ride was about 2.5 hours, we choose working day, but it was a little crowded, so all check ups got time. It's important to enter national park early and go straight up to the main lake- 2700meter above. There are 2 trope there A and B -it is really better to choose A, great view from top, but a little bit longer and you use to go up and down. Don't go 2 routes - you'll loose time. So instructions we were given were quite accurate to reality. Definitely buy spring boiled eggs -10 ¥/3 piece. waterfall is 200 meter high stairs climbing. So we were off the park around 4.p.m and got back to Yanji. In common trip is not very easy for those who got extra weight or elderly

We went from Yanji to Changbai Mountain on a tour. I booked it on trip.com. There was no chat. I got all the information about the trip from trip.com. We loved everything. A Chinese driver picked us up from the hotel. Even though he didn't speak Russian, he gave the whole group photos and instructions in Russian and drove with us to the transport center, from where everyone goes up the mountain. And from there, you won't get lost. The Chinese are great. Everything was clearly organized! I visited one location, got on a bus, went to another location, and then back. It was impossible to get lost! We went on October 9th. Thanks to our Chinese driver and trip.com.

It snowed with grade 4 wind. Visibility is poor even at Erdaobaihe. Hence all activities at Changbaishan are closed. Out of 10 activities only the Rime rafting and 1172 event can be fulfilled. The travel agent couldn't find enough experienced driver for us. We had the replacement driver who knows almost nothing of the attractions. I am glad I asked for suggestions of other activities, the driver is helpful and pleasing, he contacted the travel agent and recommended a few other activities for us, such as the ATV ride in the snow forrest, flying ride to view the Changbaishan and others as well. Of all, we really enjoyed the Rime rafting, our favourite, and ATV ride. Thank you for the doing your best. We received the agreed refund as detailed in the itinerary through Trip.com. I feel that Changbaishan is better view in Spring or Summer. Winter stands lesser chance due to the weather. With >Grade 3 wind speed, the Heaven Lake is closed. Other activities nearby are worth the trip.

We went rafting on the Jiuxi River, dug for ginseng, visited the Natural History Museum, and enjoyed a night stroll through Enduli. We also enjoyed delicious Northeastern cuisine! I must highly recommend our Changbai Mountain driver and guide, Da Kai! 👍 Before the trip, he patiently communicated with us about our needs and planned the entire itinerary in advance. He was punctual and reliable, picking us up and dropping us off on time every day. While we were exploring the mountains, he waited quietly for us, always available when needed, and never rushed us. He was incredibly thoughtful and considerate, reminding us in advance to bring raincoats and sunscreen for rafting. He considered every detail for us. He is familiar with the local customs and culture, patiently explaining Northeastern traditions and travel tips along the way. He is experienced, warm, and genuine. The entire trip was worry-free and reassuring. Our family had a comfortable and worry-free experience. We are sincerely grateful for his thoughtful care throughout!
