The accommodations, meals, and sightseeing were all well arranged, the itinerary wasn't too tight, the food was good, and the accommodations were generally very good for the area. We had a great time and were very satisfied.

Booking this in advance is the smart thing to do because you don't have to line up at the Skyliner counter to buy your ticket when you arrive to Tokyo but instead go to a separate area next door to just pick up the tickets and be on your way. This isn't as useful when you are leaving Tokyo and going to the airport via Nippori/Ueno because you still have to queue up and select the train that you'd like to get on, but the price is still lower than the tourist-friendly price that the official Skyliner site offers to you, so booking it here is hands down the smartest and most convenient move that you can make.
