Reviews: Dracula's Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov Day Trip from Bucharest
Guest User2026-02-08
After reading reviews of this tour, I expected to be forgotten somewhere, threatened with extra money, treated rudely, and so on. And, at the very least, an old and dirty bus. BUT! The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the driver was awesome, and the guide, Mattia, was attentive and polite. He kept a list of all the passengers, checked and counted them at every stop, and when necessary, ran around looking for latecomers. We bought tickets to Peles Castle online and went to see it ourselves. In Brasov, we went to the Black Church and then ate at the Gustsri restaurant. To sum it up: the tour was worth every penny, a pure pleasure!

What a fantastic way to see the countryside of Romania! Our tour guide, Sonia, was superb! We cannot say enough about how friendly, helpful and and knowledgeable she is. Made this trip the best we have done. One note if caution, the castles, particularly Bran Castle, requires walking up very steep inclines and and lot of steps...well worth it but be prepared.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during yesterday’s trip to the castles. Everything was perfectly organized, and the entire excursion exceeded our expectations. Both the guide and the driver were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the day. They were always willing to help, answer our questions, and make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Their positive attitude and warm approach truly made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic excursion, and we sincerely appreciate the outstanding service and hospitality. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting.

The driver was very good and careful despite the snowy road. Our guide, Andreea, was professional, helpful, and kind. The mine is evocative and the monastery very beautiful. We returned on time despite the adverse weather.
Reviews: Bucharest: Dracula's Castle, Peleș Castle & Brașov Day Trip

Perfect day trip from Bucharest – totally worth it if you have 4 full days in the city. Peleș Castle was absolutely amazing and very stunning. Each room was beautifully designed, with incredible attention to detail and elegant furniture. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, and explained many interesting facts about every room. Dracula’s Castle was not very impressive for me personally, but the surroundings were beautiful. The scenery and the square nearby were lovely, with plenty of places to eat and a local market where you can buy traditional items — for this alone, it’s worth the visit. Brașov is also a really cute town and a great stop on the trip.
