Fun and exciting experience with my partner and our dog. We were able to see a bunch of dolphins, whales, and birds. Also, love love love that they’re dog friendly :)

Was a good day on the boat with good a. Easy to find free parking with being guided in to find a spot! Check-in to the boat was quick and simple, just showed my voucher from the app. The tour was completely worth the whole trip, got a guaranteed sighting of aquatic wildlife, mainly the dolphins, today was a tough day to see the whales, depends very much on the animals themselves. The boat was a big and it had lots of seats and if it got cold, you were able to sit inside! Very well informed captain who knew loads of info about the tour!

We went Out on The American Star Research Vessel on April 21, 2026. The check in was easy, the crew were welcoming and the Atlantic was calm and Bright. It is the Season when Whales move through Jersey heading north, but we had no luck that day. We saw an Osprey nest with a baby Osprey on it, and an Adult caught a Fish! We were very fortunate to see a Large Pod of Dolphins feeding, frolicking, even breaching and mating. It was like witnessing a Live Flipper show. The Dolphins were undisturbed by the Boat and the Knowledgeable crew were very informative about the habits, health and environment enjoyed by the Dolphins. This tour contributes to the Research and protection of the Birds and Mammals sheltered by and swimming in Cape May Bay and therefore is well worth it, even if you don't see everything.


