The lovely people in the office said it would be the best trip of your life and it certainly was. Seeing the barrier reef and all of the different fish was absolutely amazing topped of towards the end of the snorkeling by seeing a sea turtle. Liam and Loki were brilliant very knowledgeable. Liam was looking out the whole time to see any wildlife on route which we did see another turtle but was a fleeting glimpse. Loki was the snorkeling guide and he was constantly looking out for different things to see and found the turtle 🐢. After the guided snorkel we got to have a bit of chill time on the sand island and an opportunity to go snorkel explore another part of reef. This experience is something we will never forget and would 100% recommend doing it. Laura and Sadie

I signed my father up for the trip. He's 63 and traveling alone, and he was completely satisfied with the itinerary. He had a perfect snorkeling experience, truly felt the beauty of Green Island, and the crew took excellent care of him, even checking on his physical condition before the snorkeling session.

A full-day trip to Magic Reef was the best thing that ever happened to us in Cairns. The boat takes us to a pontoon, and for five hours we enjoy everything we can, snorkeling, diving, a glass-bottom boat, and even a fish-feeding show. We had a delicious lunch with fruit and shrimp. We were touched by the friendliness of the crew; everyone was so nice and ready to help at any time.

A great half-day tour! Everything was on schedule! We had a flight that day, so it was important to get back to port on time. Everything went smoothly and without any delays! The island itself is small, so two hours was enough for snorkeling and a hiking tour!

Overall, the experience was good. I went on three certified deep-sea dives to different places, but saw similar things. The price was a bit high, probably because of the excellent service and the increased prices on meals. All diving equipment was provided, so there was no need to worry about extra charges.

Very convenient for elderly people or young kids that can't snorkel or head into the waters to view the Great Barrier Reef. Bring basic swim gears at least even if you're not going for a swim. Worth going for a walk in the waters or a light dip. If you're not keen on buffet on a boat or the restaurant choices, bring your own lunch, or just your own snack to enjoy on the island. Go for a walk on the other end of the island. Different trails to suit different stamina. If elderly or young kids is going, it may be much comfortable to book the return boat /cruise to and from Green Island, the lunch buffet /the lunch package with Emerald Restaurant / food voucher with 1 of the eateries, book the glass bottom boat ride in lieu of the snorkeling, and the semi submarine too.
