Everything worked fine. We activated it through the TRIP app right at the airport, after connecting to the free airport Wi-Fi. I booked it for seven days, which was enough to use everyday apps: WhatsApp, Safari, ********, Max, Instagram, Maps, and Taxi Bolt.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
