Our guide, Vivian, is very knowledgeable and organized, punctual, and precise. She balanced historical explanations with anecdotes about Chinese culture, and was very willing to give us time to explore on our own and take photos. There's nothing more to say about the Forbidden City; its splendor speaks for itself. Thanks again, Vivian, for a pleasant visit!

We bought tickets for a group tour, but it turned out we were alone. The guide was a very friendly young man who took us on a tour of the hutongs, explaining in detail Chinese traditions and cuisine, taking us into hidden alleys and showing us the most hidden spots. The entire tour, including dinner, lasted 3.5 hours. We didn't regret a minute of it! His English was good, and everything was crystal clear! Dinner was also filling; my daughter has a gluten allergy, so he quickly changed the dishes. The tour ended at the lake, where the guide explained in detail how to spend our time there and get back to our hotel.

As traffic in Beijing can be quite bad, a ride which normally takes 20 mins may end up requiring 50 mins. Because of this, I texted our tour guide Lydia who was really nice to extend the wait time. I am really grateful for that. The entry to the attractions was smooth and fast. Enjoyed her explanation of the venues we visited which was really clear and easy to understand. It was really good that she brought us to areas which avoided the crowd yet still letting us take beautiful pics! Highly recommended and thanks Lydia!

We did enjoy the trip but the history was a lot to take in. So much information to absorb but all very interesting and worth the trip. Bobo did a great job showing everyone the sights and explaining things. In order of trips thus far, Id rate Great Wall first, Terracotta army second and this trip third.
