Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Fishing Village 1-day tour [Includes Amanohashidate cable car ticket and Ine Bay sightseeing boat ticket]
Guest User2026-09-29
Kyoto by the Sea is absolutely gorgeous. A fantastic day trip! It's much cheaper and more convenient than going on your own. It's a bilingual (Chinese and Korean) tour, with about half the passengers being Chinese and half Korean. Our guide, Gu Wenji, was incredibly helpful and patient. Highly recommended!

Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Funaya 1-Day Tour: Optional Amanohashidate Chairlift and Monorail + Ine Bay Cruise
Guest User2026-05-17
I originally planned to explore Amanohashidate on my own, taking my time to enjoy the scenery, but considering my husband's recent back and leg problems, we opted for a day tour instead. We boarded in Kyoto, and the tour guide contacted us beforehand via WeChat with the license plate number and phone number. The agreed-upon time was also very punctual. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, providing explanations of the sights along the way. Since there were many Koreans on the bus, she spoke a lot of Korean. The scenery was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. It would have been quite inconvenient to travel to these places on my own, so choosing a day tour with an enthusiastic guide was a great option. I recommend it to everyone!

Thank you, Lyn! This trip was so wonderful! Thank you so much for your meticulous care and professional explanations over the past few days. Not only did you plan the itinerary smoothly, but you also shared so many hidden gems and delicious restaurants known only to locals. Having you there made me feel so at ease. I hope I can have you lead my tour again next time I have the opportunity!

Reviews: (Departing from Osaka/Kyoto) Sea of kyoto 1-day tour: Amanohashidate, ine boat houses & ine bay cruise
Guest User2026-10-14
The meeting point was clearly marked, and the tour was led by Lion Travel Japan. The bus was very comfortable, and you could choose to get off in Kyoto or Osaka on the return trip. Ine Bay offers easy access to the boathouse streets, and the sightseeing boat trip to feed the seagulls was a lot of fun. During the trip, seagulls and eagles would come to eat the shrimp balls, but be careful as the eagles' talons are sharp and could cause injury. Lion Travel's ticket service even included shrimp balls for feeding and tiles to throw, making it excellent value. We took a cable car and chairlift to Kasamatsu Park; the chairlift offered a better view, and there were restaurants there at reasonable prices. From Chion-ji Temple, you could walk to the sandbar beach to enjoy the same panoramic view. The whole trip was very enjoyable. Joining a day tour saved us the hassle of transportation, and Kelly, who led the tour, also recommended many good places to eat and buy. I highly recommend Lion Travel's tours.

Reviews: 1-day tour from Osaka/Kyoto to Amanohashidate and Ine no Funaya with optional cable car and sightseeing boat
Guest User2026-09-27
This time, I joined a one-day tour with five friends. Departing from Osaka, our guide, BA, was very attentive, providing excellent explanations and recommending useful local products. Although the tour was a bit rushed due to the long distance, the scenery at Amanohashidate and Ine Funaya was truly breathtaking. I'd love to come back and experience the beauty of Kyoto again.

Guide Liu's thorough explanations and meticulous reminders of the time, along with his enthusiastic service and patient advice, made for a fulfilling itinerary. The unique sandbar scenery of the sea train and Amanohashidate, the beautiful views of the Igen Boat House and the sea cruise, and the opportunity to feed the seagulls made for a truly enjoyable and enriching day.
