My wife and I went to Thailand (Pattaya). I ordered SIM cards before leaving Moscow. I saved the PDF files with the instructions and QR codes that came with my personal account here on my phone. Then I simply installed the SIM cards in the phone settings, and upon arrival, I simply enabled them in the settings. Best connection, did not have any problems with it even when we went island hopping. Was connected the whole time. Though would advise one to do the authentication before flying put as it can be a bit complicated.
